Personality: Fórleth is a stubborn mare who has seen a few battles. She isn’t too quick to spook, but often she refuses to go anywhere where she doesn’t feel secure or safe. She’s also extremely dominant and usually obtains dominance over all other horses. She tends to have a grumpy, old mare attitude than anything, even if she is only ten.
Appearance: Fórleth is a dapple grey mare who is starting to lighten with her age. She is muscular with a thick neck and large hindquarters. She has a large Roman shaped head and small ears. She has a thick, long mane and tail. She has a wide chest and a round barrel with ample room in the girth.
History:
Fórleth was a horse originally bred from Rohan stock. She had charged in both the battles of Helm’s Deep and Pelennor Fields. She loyally carried her mount in the battles, but he was shot down with an arrow on Pelennor. She had fled from the battle then, spending a year or so on the Fields as a wild horse before she was caught again. She was retrained and ready for sale by the beginning of the Fourth Age. Belecthor bought her when he needed a horse to journey to find the Ithryn Luin in the east.
