Age: 27
Family: Father, Ramil

Personality: Freond is a ranger-type, having been born and raised by parents of that description. She is able to track and fight, and her mood is often stern. She isn't extremely feminine, giving no great amount of thought to her apperance since spending most of her time in the woods and wilds. Although her look is stern, she can be brought to laughter easily when with friends. She is not very trusting of strangers, but is willing to give most people a chance.

Appearance: Freond is tallish and slender but well built, being strong and agile. Her hair is of light brown hue and her eyes bright green, sparkling when she laughs but burning when she is angry. Her normal attire is that of the ranger- hues of green, grey and brown to help her blend in with the woods, her clothing travel-stained and worn. The only 'exceptional' item she owns, other than her sword, is a silver necklace that was her mother's.

History:

Freond’s father, Ramil, is a ranger. He was married to Feyda, a woman of Gondor, and took her on some of his travels until she became pregnant. Then his traveling ceased and he stayed home with his wife in her smallish village near Minas Tirith.

Feyda gave birth to a girl, who they named Freond. Ramil had been hoping for a son, but he loved his daughter dearly. As a child she shunned learning the duties of a wife and mother, instead taking interest in what her father did- and being sonless, the man happily taught her, finding that she learned quickly. When Freond was nine years old her village was attacked by raiding orcs and her mother slayed-after this she took to learning her father’s skills even more, wanting to fight evil and protect innocents in the way he did.

At the age of seventeen they both left the village behind, and Freond adapted to the ranger-type life, making her father proud with her show of skill and bravery.
They would often split up for months only to meet again and travel together. Ramil was finally badly injured, and Freond convinced him to return to Gondor and live quietly in their old house, or to stay with distant family and enjoy his remaining days. Now she travels alone, doiing what she can… she has no desire to return to Gondor and seek the life of a housewife. She often seeks rest in Imladris.
