Gender: 2
Race: Dwarf
Height: 4'
Age: 203
Family: yes some here and there
Animals: N/A
Weapons: Axe and crossbow

Personality: Gimgist is as most of his kin, down to business and lacking in tolerance for nonsense. He is perhaps a bit less well humored than most but a good dwarven woman is difficult to find and he lost his a time ago. He is forthright and frowns heavily on deceit and subtleties or intrigue.

Appearance: His eyes are dark as the caves his kind dwell in and lit by the same fire when roused to anger or stirred to gold lust, or rather in his case gems. His beard is a dark grey blue and is his hair. His beard he keeps neatly braided and tucked in his belt. He wears on a chain, around his neck and under his beard a band of Mithril with a large white translucent stone set in it, that he had forged for his love before she disappeared.

History:

Long ago in the days of his youth Gimgist and his father’s family lived in the Blue mountains to the far west or Erebor, from whence his father came. When the Lonely Mountain was retaken he and a band of Dwarves set out to travel there and take up residence once again in the rich mountain.

On their way through the Misty Mountains the group was waylaid by goblins still hurting from the recent loss of the Great Goblin killed in the battle of five armies. A few escaped, but Gimgist’s love was lost. He still hangs onto that little hope that she had gotten away and is still somewhere, but it is a thin hope with about as much physical strength as a moon beam.

In the hall of the King under the Mountain, Gimgist was well received. He has a skill with gems that is near unmatched, in finding and working them. For years now he has been the halls foremost gem expert and is currently on a project to find new areas worth mining for just that.
