Race: Half Elf Half Human
Height: 5'11
Age: 31
Family: Father Celevon, Mother Claur, Brother Tambe
Animals: Horse Sul-Pada (Wind Walker), and Bruinen, her companion Wolf
Weapons: Bow, Long Thin Sword~Findë, Two Daggers

Personality: She is quick to laugh, especially at herself, and likes to make jokes particularly in tense situations to alleviate the pressure. Although shy, she eventually makes friends and once you are her friend, she will be yours for life, unless you do her wrong. Then beware... Well trained to take care of herself, she is strong willed and yet, at times, can be emotionally vulnerable. She will readily take care of others but refuses to be *mothered* by anyone.

Appearance: She wears clothes not usually worn by a woman - cream colored shirt hanging out, brown braided belt at the waist, brown pants tucked into boots up to her knees - all covered by her dark brown Elven cloak. She has forest green penetrating eyes and does not have pointy ears but does have superior hearing. She is of medium build and stands about 5’11” and when it is untied, her wavy golden hair falls below her waist. She has a whistle that can pierce an eardrum and be heard for a mile which she uses to call Bruinen. Goldie carries a bow and arrow-filled quiver, a long, thin sword her mother gave her before Goldie moved to Imladris, and two small daggers in a pocket on the inside of her boots. She LOVES chocolate and is never without it. She carries Athelas which her father taught her to use along with other Elvish treatments but she hopes she never has to use them. Around her neck on a fine gold chain hangs a small gold sword which has been handed down through the female side of her family. Where the hilt meets the blade is set an Emerald.

History:

Goldie is half-Elf and half-human. Her mother is from a long line of Chieftain of the Dúnedain. She is a descendant of Aramîr (meaning Lord of the Jewels), the younger son of Aranarth (who was the First Chieftain of the Dúnedain). It was Aramîr who gave the gold sword with emerald jewel to his wife. She passed it down through the female side of the family and eventually it came to Goldie’s mother. Although Goldie’s mother is of the race of men, she was given an Elvish name at birth – Claur, meaning glory.

On a visit to Lothlórien, Claur met her second husband, Celevon (made of silver), Goldie’s father, who is one of the Silvan Elves from Lothlórien and Captain of the elite group who guard the Lady of the Light. Lothlórien is where Goldie grew up. Her proper name is Laurina, meaning golden in Quenya, because she was born with golden hair, a rarity among Elves. But she prefers Goldie to the more formal Laurina.

She has a brother just two years younger than she. His proper name is Tambe, meaning copper, because his hair is much darker than hers, but she lovingly calls him Tithen Toron (little brother), or mostly Toron.

At 17 Goldie was taken to Imladris by her mother to be mentored by Maethor, the same Ranger mentor Claur had 100 years before.

On her one of her quests, Goldie helped to save Bree from an attack of roaming band of Orcs looking for something to do after the WotR. During that battle she garnered her first of many battle scars [Thread Title: *Journey through Middle-earth.] Right after the War of the Ring, Goldie and Gandalf joined together seven travelers to accompany each other to their respective homes in Middle-earth but at the last moment Goldie was called away with Maethor on another mission for Gandalf.
