Race: Human
Height: 5ft 8
Age: 19

Personality: To the customers of the Moulin Rouge Gosling seems very bubbly, passionate and confident. However the young girl that resides beneath, the real Gosling is a very different person indeed. She's quite shy, rather naive in a way and a very gentle girl. She knows what she is doing is wrong but also knows that it's the only way to keep herself off the streets. She longs to be a join the Bohemian revaluation, to become and artist or a writer. Although she spends most of the daytime sketching and scribbling down ideas she knows that she would never be able to choose to pursue it as a career.

Appearance: Long chestnut hair, usually styled into large, attractive curls, deep brown eyes, ruby lips and pale skin. Her costumes are usually include tight fitting corsets, are made from lavish fabrics either black or red in colour and are occasionally designed to coincide with a certain themes of the Moulin Rouge rooms. In the daytime she's happiest in simple white cotton numbers.

History:

Gosling (actual name thought to be Annabelle) was born into a fairly wealthy family somewhere in the south of Britain. It the age of 16 she and her cousin moved to London in order to find suitable husbands. The girls soon ran out of money as they failed time after time to find worthwhile suitors. Too ashamed to go back to Gosling’s father they soon were forced to turn to crime to survive. It wasn’t long before Gosling was left to fend for herself, her cousin was caught she was sent to prison. Gosling was given the chance to travel to Paris and without anything left for her in Britain took it straight away. Two months after she had arrived in Paris Gosling was still without a job, her only choice was to become one of the Moulin Rouge’s Diamond Dogs. Her talent was soon recognised and she was made a courtesan which meant a lot less of the can-can and a lot more acting. She would have to make men believe that she loved them.
