Hildfrith of Rohan (Adaneth)

Family: Descended from King Folcwine of Rohan. Father still living. Sister in Gondor.
Animals: Always had a horse. In Rohan she had Faerendagor but now the mare Uinmladien given by a friend. She used to have a wolfhound, Deor.
Weapons: Spear. More recently taught to use a sword quite well.
Personality: Hildfrith is a little older than she would like to be and sometimes feels a lot older. She is a daughter of the rulers of Rohan but only deemed of minor importance in Meduseld. She has a calm yet determined manner and usually is in control of a situation. She does not tolerate fools easily. Hildfrith is also very deep and tends to suppress her feelings. She is basically kind and generous, stubbonly loyal to those she loves or feels a sense of responsibility for. She is reasonably skilled with spear and sword but rarely fights, prefering study and contemplation in Imladris.
Appearance: Her hair from youth was a dark, corn coloured blonde, thick with a slight curl. Her skin is still clear and her eyes bright blue. She has a slight build and stands very upright. She loves fine dresses, yet mostly wears plainer clothes.
History:
Time span: late Third age to early Fourth age.
Hildfrith spent the first 35 years of her life in Edoras. She had a happy, if slightly poor, childhood. She was always aware of her noble bloodline although she was aware she was of little importance. Like many women of Rohan she was taught enough sword skill to defend herself at need, but strongly discouraged from seeking battle. Her prefered weapon was a spear from horseback. She was accompanied by Deor, her brave wolfhound for many years. Hildfrith always liked studying the history of her people and was fascinated by elven culture and influence. Given the opportunity, she eventually traveled to Imladris where Lord Elrond has allowed her to remain.
