Gender: 2
Race: Elf
Height: 5' 8"
Age: 1039! (I don't know, whatever lol)
Family: his father, Thranduil
Animals: ...not yet, at least ^.~
Weapons: bow, knives, dagger

Personality: He's generally just a happy young elf- still youthful and quite innocent. He is just like the Legolas we know- kind, caring, skilled, and compassionate- but perhaps a bit more playful, cheerful, and prank-loving. He will help anyone he sees needing it with his princely ways... and always make new friends. Of course, to an enemy he can be formidable still.... but it hardly happens. He is still naive and innocent, and current best friends w/ Aragorn and Arwen. All the angst and sudden happenings that will make him more quiet, reserved, and pensive won't happen until later, when he's basically a grown elf. ^.~

Appearance: well, the picture pretty much gives it all.... (Disclaimer: I did not draw that! No, I did not!) But basically Idil is just Legolas, when he was younger. Around 14 or 15, if counted by mortal age. He's generally in his Mirkwood robes, with shoulder-length blonde hair and a cute, adorable smile nearly always on his innocent, young face. He carries his weapons when he's traveling, yes, but seeing his cute appearance you'd never think he could be deadly.

History:

Idil was the nickname Legolas was called when he was very young- by Adriel, her father, and nearly every elf in Mirkwood. His mother said it meant to them “sweetest melody”, and he was quite sweet indeed and learned to sing and play the flute very well too. His history would be unmarred and beautiful, as he spent all his childhood basically in protected arms and playing with his friends often, if it weren’t for one thing. Adriel, his best friend when he was very young (and future love), was taken away when she was but 7 and thought dead for a thousand and more years by everyone who knew her. Idil, at first, could not accept the fact, and neither could Aragorn and Arwen, and he missed her everyday. But as the centuries passed, he gradually grew used to it, and though he still remembered her in the back of his heart, she was not always on his mind. However, as the Fellowship’s story was about to begin, he met her again at last, after more than 2000 years, and well… that’s another story. ^.~
