Imarië Bladesinger (Vanwa_Meleth)
She was found as a baby at the foot of the Misty Mountains by Dwarven sentries who took her to Khazad-dûm where she was raised as the daughter of Durin VI, until the city fell to Balrog. Since then she has traveled with Gandalf and on her own, a frequent visitor to Rohan, Gondor, Erebor, and the Shire. She does not go frequently to the dwellings of Elves, as she is shy around her own kind, never knowing if she will meet any of her kin.
She learned the art of smithing from the Dwarves and is one of their best Mithril workers, which is why she is welcomed as one of them. She developed the concept of singing blades in her early years, the art of streamlining the swords and small blades so there would be easier ways for her friends the Dwarves to use larger broadswords. She added holes to the hilts and upper section of the blades so the air would whistle through them, causing the term “singing” blades, and many orcs and enemies have died hearing the sound of her blades singing. She also learned about poisons and how to use them on the daggers she hid on herself.
