Gender: 2
Race: Falathrim
Age: unknown
Family: Younger brother: Ilirion
Animals: Faila - a wild, yet seemingly friendly wolf that follows her..sometimes
Weapons: two short blades

Personality: Iriquen is a loner by choice, a social butterfly at heart. She loves Middle-Earth and tries to see the good in all its inhabitents. She has seen rough times during the First Age, however the Vala gave her a heart which withstood the harships only to become stronger. If she can help she will. If her friend is burdened she will help carry the weight. Iri is light hearted and loves to laugh. Her humor lacks, but that doesn't stop her from trying. She is spontaneous and very colorful. The shade of her hair matches her personality pretty much. She does have enemies and though she denies their existence...they remain.

Appearance: Iri dawns the pale skin, almost white and the slender bone structure of her people. She remains skinnier than most, a curse the Vala chose for her. She is only slightly curvy but nothing worth bragging about. She is usually seen in day-to-day wear of the coast. Knowing the trade of the other he-elves she tends to dress like them. White blouse, rolled up sleeves, brown breechs and lace up black boots. However when she dresses to impress she is usually seen in dark-grean gowns or greys. ((Picture posted later this evening))

History:

In the ancient days was when she was alive. She and her younger brother were of the Teleri Elves dwelling in Beleriand. She was among those who learned much from Osse, a Maia of the Sea. When Osse’s master, Ulmo conducted most part of the Teleri into the West, Osse persuaded some, including Iriquen and Iliron, to remain behind. They settled on Beleriand’s western shores, building Havens at Brithombar and Eglarest.

Cirdan was their leader, they became known as the Falathrim, the first builders and sailors of ships in Middle Earth’s history. Instead of living like a lady, Iri’s passion drove her to be amongst those who built and crafted with wood, along with Ilirion. She denied those in her life who asked for her hand in marriage, for she lived only for one thing, the sea.

She was of the sailors who rescued High King Fingon from overwhelming hordes in Hithlum. At the disaster of Nirnaeth, Iri fled with others to the Havens of Falas, but her brother was seperated from them and never seen again. Iriquen was part of the few who later escaped the besiege of the Havens of Falas, following her leader Cirdan. They sailed southwards and settled for a time on the Isle of Balar. Later, they sailed to Lindon, building the Grey Havens.
