Personality: Ivoreth is a woman of fierce determination, and unswerving devotion. She can be acerbic, but only to prove her own position to be the 'right' one - no matter if it is or isn't. She can be cheery, upon occasion, but holds to her own mind in all things; and her main goal in life is to care for Elestirnë of Minas Tirith, the rightful Queen of Gondor. She may be a servant, but she doesn't take guff from anyone, and she commands respect in her own right. She loves Elestirnë like a daughter, but she isn't afraid to tell her the truth - even if her charge doesn't want to hear it.

Appearance: Ivoreth is rather plump, and of medium height. Her hair is quite grey, and always caught up in a messy braid she twists into a bun. Her face is wrinkled, but beneath her grey brows are brown eyes that are as sharp as when she was young. Ivoreth keeps her clothing simple... mostly grey dresses woven in the best material.

History:

Ivoreth was chosen by the late king and queen of Gondor to be the nanny for their only child, Elestirnë.

From the day she was born, Ivoreth was in charge of the future Queen… basically raising her, and so attentive the nanny kept Elestirnë company during many of her lessons.

When Elestirnë became queen on the unexpected death of her father, Ivoreth was there – ensuring that everything was done ‘properly’… and when the young ruler turned guardianship of her country over to a Steward, Ivoreth accompanied her to Dol Amroth to live.
