Gender: 2
Race: man
Height: 6'2
Age: late twenties
Family: he claims he has none left
Animals: he only uses a horse when he must-- he is not an animal lover
Weapons: a sword, a bow, a few daggers

Personality: Kynd isn't known for being friendly, but he is polite toward the right people. His thoughts are usually dark, but cunning, and when he does joke, the subject is usually morbid or some sort of wise-crack/sarcasm. He is determined to complete whatever task he takes upon himself, and won't back down from an enemy/challenge unless he has no chance of victory. Kynd can serve in a leadership position well-- in fact, he always prefers giving orders over taking them. When he has made his mind up about something, there is little one can do to sway him. Though Kynd's temper is cool most of the time, he gets into fights often. It pleases him to push others' buttons and make them angry at him while he remains calm and collected-- when he has succeeded in this, one may see his rare and charming smile. He enjoys stealing and likes to gamble, and usually always wins. Kynd is a cheat and a thief, but has an unfailingly charming personality. Oh yes, he also loves the ladies. They love him too, it seems; some of them find his dark thoughts interesting, and most find him handsome. Sadly, he will probably never setlle down with just 'one' woman... he makes no commitment to any of them.

Appearance: Kynd is of average height. He is well-built and strong. His face is smooth, despite his years of hard work and toil, and he prefers to keep it close to clean-shaven when he can. This man's eyes are nothing special, though, plain brown but not easy to read. His hair is likewise- dark, dark brown and just past his broad shoulders, usually secured with a strip of cloth.

History:

Kynd was raised in a village of Gondor, trained to be a soilder from a young age by his father. Growing up, he had few friends and focused mainly on learning. He became skilled with weapons and the art of battle by his teen years, growing ever better as time progressed. His father deserted the Gondorian army, however, out of fear and anger towards a captain. Kynd, being fairly young at the time, trusted his father’s petty reasoning and deserted with him. His father was killed in a small battle in Eregion. Kynd now works as a mercenary, finding work wherever he can and not regretting anything he’s paid to do. He served for a while in a ‘mercenary company’ but found that it didn’t suit him, working as a ‘soldier for hire’- so he struck out on his own. He found out after his father’s death that the man had been having affairs, and that Kynd has a younger half-brother named Lerren. He’s never been fond of him.

In his travels Kynd also meets a woman ranger/mercenary named Merin, who he eventually loses his heart to. They make an excellent devious pair.
