Lethran Pelläerhil (Eldarion)
Hundreds of years after Feanor left Valinor, Lethran was born in Tirion. For about 20 years he lived in Tirion until the Vanyar elves moved to Tanquietel. His parents then decided to leave for Beleriand. There they lived amongst the Noldor in Nargothrond. Not long after, Lethran joined the armies of Feanor’s sons on the plain Dorthonion in the Battle of Sudden Flame. Years later, he joined the armies of Gondolin on Anfauglith in the Battle of Unnumbered Tears. After the battle was lost, he retreated to Nargothrond again until it’s fall. Soon after that he left again for Middle-earth. His parents were killed though at the Battle of Unnumbered Tears. Lethran though, during the War, frequently traveled to Valinor, with permission of the Valar, to see his family in the Vanyar. But, after the war finally came to an end, and Morgoth cast out, the Valar no longer allowed him to travel back an forth between Middle-Earth and Valinor. He had to make a decision. Lethran chose to stay in Middle-Earth, though he would not see his family again until he sailed to the Undying Lands permanently, his friends, and those he grew up with were back in Middle-Earth. The Valinor let him sail back to Middle-Earth without any trouble. There, he settled in Lothlorien with Celeborn and Galadriel, knowing that they were the closest thing to a family he would have in Middle-Earth. There, he was considered as one of the High Elves, and he was, being one of the Vanyar, and one of Ingwe’s people. Soon, after the War with Morgoth, Lethran traveled to Numenor, just to see what it was like, and to see Elros. All things went well there, until tidings of awful things happening back in Middle-Earth. Lethran immediatly traveled back, joining Elrond in the Alliance. The two fought side by side with Gil-Galad. He fought in the Last Alliance, then waited out the War of the Ring in Lothlorien, until Galadriel and Celeborn sailed to Valinor. Then, all that was left was Elrond, who was like his brother. There he stayed, in Imladris, constantly told by Elrond to go to the Undying Lands, for Elrond knew Lethran was one of the Vanyar, and he belonged with his own people. Lethran though, refused, and still today, remains the only Vanyar Elves in Middle-Earth. But time is winding down, and Elrond may be leaving soon. Choices will be made soon..only Eru knows what will happen.
