Gender: 1

Height: 6'1
Age: Born in the year 343 of the First Age
Family: Unknown
Animals: Ifinthriel-Deep black horse
Weapons: Lothlorien Bow,Quiver of Arrows,Elvish Sword with Vanyarin runes and a golden handle

Personality: Lethran isn't very kind to most people and almost always seems miserable, which is why he is quiet. The elf isn't very weary of Middle-earth, but weary of it's people. He misses his own people, the Vanyar. He his is more of a rebel, and that mostly describes his personality. He has few friends, but wanders quite abit, though his heart is constantly in The Golden Wood.He is a lover of trees and all things that come from the earth. He is also merciless to his enemies. Somehow, he has grown a strong hatred for most men. He does have an exception for those with Numenorian blood in their veins, but despises most others. In his opinon, men were only second best to elves, since they were were put on Ea as the lesser children of Iluvatar..

Appearance: He hair is a dark blonde mixed in with brown, making it somewhat dark. Although a characteristic of Vanyar elves is their blonde hair, after years of being gone from Valinor, it slowly changed into a darker color. No one can really tell the color of his eyes, but in the starlight, and moonlight, they become a deep silver that is very evident. His build is about average, one of the reasons why he is quite fast. As seen in the pic, he wears a strange type of armor, that does not fit with any style of the elves, which is a characteristic of his "rebel" elvish style. Also, he has a long dark silver cape that he usually wears. At his side is a curved Elvish sword that he prizes. It was forged by smiths in Valinor, and given to him as a gift from the Valar when he was born. Therefor, it is extremely dear to him. On his back is an Elvish bow, which he also prizes, and a quiver of arrows which he holds quite valuably.

History:

Hundreds of years after Feanor left Valinor, Lethran was born in Tirion. For about 20 years he lived in Tirion until the Vanyar elves moved to Tanquietel. His parents then decided to leave for Beleriand. There they lived amongst the Noldor in Nargothrond. Not long after, Lethran joined the armies of Feanor’s sons on the plain Dorthonion in the Battle of Sudden Flame. Years later, he joined the armies of Gondolin on Anfauglith in the Battle of Unnumbered Tears. After the battle was lost, he retreated to Nargothrond again until it’s fall. Soon after that he left again for Middle-earth. His parents were killed though at the Battle of Unnumbered Tears. Lethran though, during the War, frequently traveled to Valinor, with permission of the Valar, to see his family in the Vanyar. But, after the war finally came to an end, and Morgoth cast out, the Valar no longer allowed him to travel back an forth between Middle-Earth and Valinor. He had to make a decision. Lethran chose to stay in Middle-Earth, though he would not see his family again until he sailed to the Undying Lands permanently, his friends, and those he grew up with were back in Middle-Earth. The Valinor let him sail back to Middle-Earth without any trouble. There, he settled in Lothlorien with Celeborn and Galadriel, knowing that they were the closest thing to a family he would have in Middle-Earth. There, he was considered as one of the High Elves, and he was, being one of the Vanyar, and one of Ingwe’s people. Soon, after the War with Morgoth, Lethran traveled to Numenor, just to see what it was like, and to see Elros. All things went well there, until tidings of awful things happening back in Middle-Earth. Lethran immediatly traveled back, joining Elrond in the Alliance. The two fought side by side with Gil-Galad. He fought in the Last Alliance, then waited out the War of the Ring in Lothlorien, until Galadriel and Celeborn sailed to Valinor. Then, all that was left was Elrond, who was like his brother. There he stayed, in Imladris, constantly told by Elrond to go to the Undying Lands, for Elrond knew Lethran was one of the Vanyar, and he belonged with his own people. Lethran though, refused, and still today, remains the only Vanyar Elves in Middle-Earth. But time is winding down, and Elrond may be leaving soon. Choices will be made soon..only Eru knows what will happen.
