Presscot has a thin scar across the back of his neck from being hit with a sword by a girl when he was eight years old. From that point on he never doubted a woman with a sword in her hand.

History:

His father, Pelendur, is a steward to king Ondoher. Vorondil was the first hereditary Steward of Gondor.Pelendur was a highly influential Steward, who accrued considerable power to his office. As well as effectively acting as regent during the interregnum, it was during his time that the office of Steward became hereditary. When Presscot was little, him and his father, who was just a normal man in Gondor, they were sent to Rivendell to deliver a message that is long now forgotten. It was there that Presscot met Bilbo Baggins on his journey with the thirteen dwarves, helping them get back their treasure.
