Personality: SÃlaranel is naturally graceful, stoic and beautiful. She loves the arts especially dancing, painting, and singing. She is very musically talented often playing a lute and other such instruments. SÃla is very in touch with nature and loves animals dearly. Though she gets on well with animals she often feels distant from people and doesn’t understand them even her own kind. She is very cautious and slow to trust. Most assume her somewhat aloof and snobbish because she is quite anti-social, when really she is quiet and shy. Quite the introvert she keeps herself to herself. SÃla can appear very secretive. However she is warm and welcoming to those who talk to her. Everyone who meets her seems to adore SÃla. Once you get to know her SÃla can be amiable, earnest, caring, charming, subtly feisty or flirty but in a more reserved manner. The utmost reasonable and sensible person you will ever meet. This makes her very good at strategy, planning ahead, and finding the most accessible way out of an otherwise unwanted situation. However she dislikes chaos and has difficulty with more impulsive types, uncomfortable with doing things without first thinking them through. She is very well-read and enjoys learning about the history of Middle-Earth; she is also very good with languages. She is not the most fierce or bravest of elves, much preferring to run away from a fight than partake in any sort of physical violence. If need be she will favor climbing a tree and use her bow, but is terrified if ambushed up close.
Appearance: SÃlaranel is beautiful; her figure is slender and tall. She seems ever smiling, or at the very least with a pleasant demeanor on her face. She emits a sort of peaceful tranquility and she seems to be light on her feet as though she dances everywhere rather than walks. She has dainty facial features. Her silver-white-blonde hair is long and silky and ripples down her back, against a pale complexion; her eyes are a bright shining amber-brown.
History:
Born and raised in Lothlorien, though her parents moved to Imladris so that her father could continue his scholarly work she has the dexterous hands of a seamstress and is often found making beautiful clothing. Síla has felt lonely even amongst a crowd of people. She gets on well with her family and loves her parents dearly and her naïve, wide-eyed, dreamer of a younger sister Failawen. Her name means shining princess; people often think she has the air and look of a princess.
