Born in 1800 of the second age in to parents who came with the Valar in the alliance to over throw Melkor/Morgoth and they remained until the finish of the Alliance wars against Sauron. At the end of the war which both Thalion and his father fought in, his parents returned to Valinor unable to convince Thalion to return with them. His abilities started to show themselves when he reached the 430 year of his life and continued to grow stronger as he aged. His abilities for many years were to much for him and he would leave for long periods of time to escape the constant noise and thoughts of others coming to him. His parents tried to find help for him but he was difficult to deal with in those years and listened only to his own council. His abilities controlled him and he was to leave for Valinor when Cirdan drew him aside and helped him to understand and use his gift. He also taught him in time to control what he heard and to know when he needed to take time away. Cirdan counselled Thalion to remained in Middle Earth and use his gift against the darkness he thought would come again to the lands of Middle Earth. Cirdan and Thalion remain fast friends.

Thalion moved from the Havens to Lorien where he devoted himself to the service of Celeborn and Galadriel. He became an Emissary of Lorien and travelled the lands widely both as friend and as spy. He gain a very good understanding of lore and runes in his travels and speaks and read both Sindarin and Quenya fluently. He has remained unmarried and has no one that he would call a girl friend but has close friends of both sexes. He has fought many battles but won’t fight just for the sake of fighting, some battles are better to fight another day if the out come is questionable.

Thalion still takes time away and has an area that he favours in the misty mountains. He always remains in touch with Galadriel and Celeborn and will always answer their call.
