Gender: 2
Race: Noldorin Elf/Maia-turned-Orc
Height: 6'
Age: 527
Family: Mother: Ainëlinde; Father: Tulcaráto - whereabouts unknown
Animals: None
Weapons: As an orc: Sword, bow, 2 knives - all orc-made

Personality: Dark, merciless, and 'hard' from five centuries of being in the company of orcs. Yet, there is a hidden 'shred' of kindness and light that refuses to be doused. This inner strength is what has allowed Gwathur to survive.

Appearance: Tall, has night-black hair and oddly-golden colored eyes. Originally, they were black with gold flecks; and upon his healing, will become blue with gold flecks. His hair, however is matted, and 'clumpy'; and his eyes can not take the full light of day for very long, due to living underground for most of his life. His clothing is the same as an orc's. Gwathur is disfigured from years of torture, and his features are very orc-like.

History:

Gwathur’s name means “Shadow-heart” in Sindarin. At the age of 27, Gwathur was hunting outside Imladris (where he was born), when he was kidnapped by orcs and taken to Mordor. There, under the shadow of Sauron beginning his rise, he was tortured to turn him into a ‘new-breed’ of orc – capable of moving during the daylight, as well as night.

During the process, his elven-fairness was disfigured, and now Gwathur mostly resembles an orc. He has never forgotten his true origins, however, and longs to return to his birthplace and be healed.
