When Uruviel was younger she watched her parents tortured and killed by a dark elf. She was then taken to Mordor and held prisoner, the only thing that kept her alive was her beauty. She escaped with her life and was found in Rohan.

She was given a white horse, who could match her sire in speed. She gave the horse the name Silivren, which means Glittering White, for her pure white coat shown with beauty.

She road Silivren to Lothlorien where she was healed of her wounds given to her in Mordor. She became Galadriel’s hand maiden. Uruviel was then sent on a errand to Rivendell for a time. While she was there she was tought the skill of the sword by Ellandan and Elrohir. She was given a sword, which had the name Brilhathol for it never lost it’s glitter even in battle, with it’s hilt made of gold with elvish script up along the hilt to the tip.

She was released from her service of Galadriel, who saw the need for her to find her parents murderer. She wandered long in the wilderness, not wanting to rest until her parent’s were avenged.
