Race: Haradrim
Height: 5'4
Age: 26
Family: Dead, or too far away to know if they're dead
Animals: Lightfoot, a fox that follows her around
Weapons: A glaive and a shortbow for hunting

Personality: Zamani is, above all things, patient. She is initially very distrustful of strangers and constantly on her guard. She is very easily scared off, her curiosity about strange people and things often battling with her good sense to stay hidden. However, once she's taken an interest in someone, she's loyal beyond reason and an impossibly useful ally to have.

Appearance: She dresses in light but sturdy clothes and armor usually of dark browns and grays to help her blend in with her surroundings. Her shortbow was bought in a town outside Gondor and brings no attention to itself, though it is kept in good condition. However, even with these additions, there is no mistaking her for one of the peoples of Middle-Earth. She has olive skin and the dark eyes of the Haradrims. She is of a short stature and a thin form, but the blade she carries is no walking stick. She keeps with her a standard military-issue glaive from when she fought as one of Saruman's Haradrim pawns and she knows all too well how to use it.

History:

Zamani is from a proud clan of warriors within Harad. When the time came for Sauron to strike Middle Earth he called upon the people of the South and not without unpleasant methods of persuasion. Zamani’s father was drafted into the armies coming to Mordor’s aid. In one of the most poorly thought through decisions of her life, Zamani dressed in the guise of a soldier and followed the men to battle, hoping to protect her elderly father. She was involved in a horrible loss against the men of Rohan during which her father was killed. She deserted the army, but was now left stranded in a foreign land. Zamani only has two goals now: to stay alive and, hopefully, to one day make it safely back home.
