Council Courier Confusion Corrected

Well nothing on the web is ever perfect and we had some technical and design difficulties with our first issue of The Council Courier the official newsletter of The Council of Elrond. But we got out our tool box and gave it a going over. So if you’ve subscribed to the newsletter you can now go view it in the archive by clicking the newsletter link on the left.

Additionally, you can sign up for the newsletter there if you haven’t already (but you won’t be able to read the archive until you do and you must be a member of the site to sign up)

Lord of the Rings exhibit contest

Work on the 2003 DVD release of TTT has begun

A new article from Lord of the Rings Guide.com has interesting information about The Two Towers DVD. This DVD, which will be released sometime in 2003, is the current topic of discussion for New Line Home Entertainment Vice President Mike Mulvihill. “Mulvihill is hesitant to predict what will appear on the DVDs.”

More clips to whet your appetite…

DVD Town has just announced that starting today, they will be showing four clips from the extended Fellowship Of the Ring DVD on their website. Today’s clip shows us the main menu, giving us a nice preview at just how packed-with-goodies the extended version is going to be. The next three clips will be published over the next three days.

Bringing Evil to Your Desktop

The Official Site has updated once again, adding desktop images of all your favorite evil doers. Take your pick from backgrounds including Saruman, Wormtongue, Barad-dur, and some lovely orcs.

New Theatrical Banners for TTT

A movie agency in Taiwan has just released a set of eight theatrical banners for TTT, which have new pictures of Aragorn, Frodo, Legolas, Arwen, and more. These banners will be hung on movie theater ceilings. To view these great banners, visit Orlando Bloom Multimedia.
