Last Alliance collection available at Sideshow Weta
For any of you collectors out there, Sideshow Weta now has a Last Alliance collection available for ordering, comprising of Elrond, Isildur, Elendil and Gil-galad.

Went to look at them as I am a serious Last Alliance junky. *sigh* Elendil, Isildur, and Gil-galad aren’t bad, but oy… Elrond looks… horrid! They have his mouth all wrong and his eyes are really frightening. Not the beloved warrior/healer I have envisioned and Hugo Weaving portrayed. *sigh again* I would have loved to have the entire collection, but I am *not* going to pay $60 for that bust of Elrond. Ai, Elbereth! Almost as bad as the Aragorn ones. Heck, I like my six inch “action figure” better. Even my 12 inch resin figure has a better face. Argh…
