The nominations for The World Soundtrack awards have been announced. There are no nominations for either RotK or Howard Shore in the Best Original Soundtrack of the Year or Soundtrack Composer of the Year categories. However, Into the West has been nominated in the Best Original Song Written for Film category.

Voting for the Public Choice award closes on 15th September. The award winners will be announced on 9th October.
