From 14th to 17th July, Fellowship! the musical parody of The Fellowship of the Ring will be at Comic-con in San Diego. There are further details about this event at Fellowship the Musical.

Lord of the Rings actors John Rhys-Davies and Sala Baker, along with Royd Tolkien (great-grandson of JRR Tolkien) will be appearing at CauldronCon from 12th to 14th August 2005. This convention will take place at the Sheraton Ferncroft Resort, Danvers, Massachusetts.

Karl Urban was born in Wellington, New Zealand on 7th June 1972 and today Karl is celebrating his 33rd birthday. You can read his cast bio here. In the CoE gallery there are pictures of Karl here and of Karl in the role of Éomer here.

On June 13th, at the Racine Public Library, WI, Matt Blessing (Marquette University archivist) will present a talk on the work of JRR Tolkien. For further details about this event go to the Racine Public Library website and click on Classes and Programs on the left side of the page.

Have you ever wondered when your favorite stars from Lord of the Rings will be on TV? Now you can know! The CoE TV Guide will list almost all of the shows featuring actors and actresses from Lord of the Rings, and what channel their show will be on (US only). All times EST.

Due to numerous requests, the submission deadline for “Lembas for the Soul” has been extended to June 30th, 2005. No further extensions will be made, so do submit your entries as soon as possible to White Tree Press.

The Lord of the Rings Exhibition opens at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at 12:01a.m. on June 4th. In this article at The Houston Chronicle Az James, touring exhibition manager, gives some insights into the exhibition and there’s also a photo gallery including pictures of Gimli’s costume and Arwen’s riding dress.
