The Broadway Theatre in Peterborough, England will show all three Lord of the Rings films back-to-back on the theatre’s big screen on July 23 and July 24, starting at 11:00 in the morning and ending at 7:00 that evening, with breaks between the three films. Sideshow Collectibles and Weta Workshop have announced their decision to end their range of LotR limited edition collectibles. Over the past 4 years they have produced over 180 LotR items including busts, plaques and helms.
The final piece they produce will be a tribute to Peter Jackson, a statue of PJ as a Corsair. Greg Anzalone, CEO of Sideshow Collectibles said, “We feel it appropriate to end the line with a tribute to Peter Jackson, without whom the amazing experience of the past four years would not have been possible.”
