LotR trilogy all in a day

The Broadway Theatre in Peterborough, England will show all three Lord of the Rings films back-to-back on the theatre’s big screen on July 23 and July 24, starting at 11:00 in the morning and ending at 7:00 that evening, with breaks between the three films. Sideshow and Weta to end LotR collectibles

Sideshow Collectibles and Weta Workshop have announced their decision to end their range of LotR limited edition collectibles. Over the past 4 years they have produced over 180 LotR items including busts, plaques and helms.

The final piece they produce will be a tribute to Peter Jackson, a statue of PJ as a Corsair. Greg Anzalone, CEO of Sideshow Collectibles said, “We feel it appropriate to end the line with a tribute to Peter Jackson, without whom the amazing experience of the past four years would not have been possible.”

Lord of the Rings for Playstation Portable

This short article at Kotaku.com reports that the forthcoming Playstation Portable game, “Lord of the Rings: Tactics”, will be a 3D rpg. The game is due for release in November this year.
