The Los Angeles Business Journal report that New Line Cinema, who produced the LotR movies, has settled a $20 million lawsuit filed by Saul Zaentz, owner of the licensing rights to the books. The amount of the settlement has not been disclosed.

IGN has three new videos of footage from the forthcoming game, The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II.
The videos feature commentary from executive EA producer Mike Verdu and cover naval combat, base construction and footage of a multiplayer match featuring Goblin and Dwarf combat.

Contact Music report that Elijah Wood is planning to use a room in his house to display his Lord of the Rings memorabilia. Elijah’s collection includes the One Ring on a chain and hobbit feet.
In a recent poll to find Britain’s favorite book, The Lord of the Rings took the number 1 slot. In second place was 1984 and third place went to the Harry Potter books.
