Borthand was one of the sons (and apparently the youngest) of Bór, a chieftain of the Easterlings during the First Age. He died along with his brothers, Borlad and Borlach, fighting alongside the Noldor, during the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, the fifth of the Battles of Beleriand.
