The Three-Farthing Stone was a stone placed by the side of the East Road to mark the point where three of the four farthings of the Shire bordered one another.

The Southfarthing, Eastfarthing, and Westfarthing came together about 5 miles southeast of Bywater and 14 miles west of Frogmorton.

The Three-Farthing Stone was also said to mark the near-center of the entire Shire itself.
