Post (POLL) What is the most common age group of CoE members?

I just want to figure out what the majority age of us here are. I know Tolkien/LOTR has affected many generations. I hope you don't mind me asking.... of course, it's anonymous, you don't have to announce your age to the whole site or anything. I hope no one gets offended, none is meant.

Yeah, sorry for those who are under 13, I didn't put a choice for anyone under 13 because the rules of the site are you must be at least 13 to join. But I do know there are some under that age who have filled out the form and been allowed to join, or joined before we set that rule, and I'm sorry. So you can just say you are 13 if you feel you want to vote.

I'm 19.

I think the whole "You have to be 13 to join" is rather silly... but I know that CoE doesn't make those rules.

I'm 18, Ive always thought the majority of members were about 14, 15, whenever i ask people they seem to answer this anyway. Still I know theres some more mature members, probably lying about their age

Gee, folks, you make me feel so old! I turned 22 three months ago, and now I honestly think I'm a real grandma and should go out and buy some dentures. Well, you can be in your "tweens" and still love Tolkien... even if all the people you know keep telling you that you should grow up at last.

hey, don't worry, being in the range of 19-25 isn't very old. i know there are quite alot of members on this site that are in their 30s, 40s, 50s. (no offense meant to them!! you are great, you keep this site mature.) I hope more people keep posting...

I'm honing in on 24...in a few months...and most of the people I work with are younger than I am...my manager is only 2 years older than me and they all call him grandpa... :nono:

Well your hobbitmom is 56, going to be 57 the 7th. of next month . I would like to say I'm very proud to be the age I am and I'm not ashamed to say my age. If I was I wouldn't be posting it here.....LOL .

Yep, I have kids older than most of you. My eldest son is 25 and my daughter (youngest) is 14. How old am i? I graduated from high school when I was 18, and that was the spring of 1976.

I like your little, guess how old I am, thing going here . Get those young whipper snappers thinking, lol .

Well, my Daughter is 36 and my Son is 30. I also have a Granddaughter 17 and a Grandson 16 . I guess I can say the same, I also have kids older then most of you. :naughty:

Well I just added up how many people have voted, as of today it is 89 people. I know there are way more than 89 members of this site. But still, 89 is a lot, and 40% of that is age 13-15. But i also agree, older people probably aren't too interested in these kind of polls. Ah well.
