Very nice! I think the Gandalf banner is my favorite, though all are beautifully done . Nice fonts too - they match well with the various themes of each character/scene.

Wow! They are beautiful all of them I mean. Since you are making avvies and siggies of the main characters from the book/movies, if you want, you can do some with the Vala. I rarely see avvies of Manwë, Varda, Ulmo,etc. This is just a suggestion and you don't have to do it, Lady.

I make banners and I was wondering what people think of them lol. i've showed them to my friends and they say they are good but i can't tell if they are being biased or not, so if i show u some recent banners i've made, can u tell me what u think??

Well, there's a place for this in the Club section of CoE. It's called the Media Creators Club. We basically post stuff that we make for others to see, comment, etc.

What program do you use? I guess the type of criticism depends on the type of program that you use. Some are obviously better than others.

But the banners are really good. The job you did with the blending is great (I really like the last one) and the colours match the banners themselves.

The only thing I would say is in the first banner, the blue outline for the circles aren't anti-aliased, so it doesn't look like a smooth outline and the text in the third banner is a little hard to read. But really! You did a good job!

your blending is excellent. i don't know what you're using to make them so i can't get too specific but try enhancing the color a bit and sharpen the images. fool around with colorburn and exclusion layers, they can be really really awesome.

Lady Eowyn: ah ill go and check taht club out!! i use paintshop pro 7... its alright but sometimes a bit annoying getting the colours right... thanks for the comments!! the Narnia banner was the first time using that style of bannering, so i'll need more practice to make it more effective...

Rohan Naur: thanks for the comments!! im always playing around with layers, colours and textures.... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt...

I agree with Lady~Eowyn. You did a great job with the blending. I actually prefer the Narnia one to the others though. I kinda like the sudden edge. So for advice, I'd focus on the font choice. Some of them just seem weird. Another neat thing you can do w/ fonts (depending on what program you have, of course) is you can overlay, dodge, burn, screen, or multiply them. I use PSP8 and those are the terms they use. They all kinda make the layer almost transparent, in a way. Here's an example:

In this one I used overlay for the layer the text was on.
