Krusk led them the way that he knew best following a path of sorts. He was not used to traveling with a horse for no horse could usually carry him. Places that would have saved ours on foot took them much longer on horses, but they made time by being able to go longer and faster. Krusk came upon a camp place. It was still fairly early in the evening as the sunset was just upon them. "We stop here. Tomorrow long day. Horses need rest. Cannot stop tomorrow or giant folk will come." Hearing giant folk from Krusk was not a good thing.

They camped that night and off in the distance they could hear what might be the mountains rumbling, but more likely that of the Giants nearby. The next morning, they left early, just before sunrise. "Best to leave horses behind. I know way on foot that will take us close to town and stay away from giants." Krusk waited for Glyndyr's answer.
