Ok, so this is my first shot at running my own TR rp. Anyone is welcome to join, this is a nonscripted roleplay but we're going to try to follow the events of the trilogy as best we can. =]

The plot for the rp so far is that it is set about 50 years before the fellowship leaves Rivendell. The trolls in the Trollshaws are getting bolder and larger in quantity. So, Lord Elrond dispatches a small fellowship into the Trollshaws to thin out their numbers.

If anyone has any ideas to expand the plot and add a different direction, I'm all ears. Enjoy!

I have been out of the RP-ing loop for a while and would love to get back into it! This idea is something new and involves a different area of Middle Earth I have never heard of. In my previous RPs, I've never dealt with trolls so I did a little research. Here is a little more info on trolls in Tolkien's world.

What kind of characters are you looking for?

Welcome! I'm hoping for a wide range of characters, elves men maybe a dwarf and a hobbit. I am looking for maybe a character or two that is in Baudhiels patrol group. =]

I have two chars at the moment, both in the database...

I've been working on two others, since Mith might start getting a little overplayed and I'm not sure where Nil would fit in.

I'll let this idea rattle around in my head and see if I have any ideas to proffer.

I've been doing some thinking as to my own character...I have a Gondorian man, Aeron, that has only been used once, but I can't see what purpose a Gondorian man would have in the North at this point. As far as hobbits go, prior to the time of the WotR, would they have moved so far east, given that they, for the most part, are "timid" in nature? So, I think I'm going to create a man from Bree, of no distinguished background. I should have him up soon!

I'll have something up in the next day or three. I'm traveling at the moment, so its kinda hard. I'm doing this one on my phone, and a full post would be really hard, haha.

understandable, I myself was jsut traveling for a few days. Helping my future roommates move out of their apartment to get ready to move into the apartment we have now, that I move into in 3 days. =]

I don't think there should be a posting order, just because it can slow the rp down. Carandra and I can speak from experience. =]

Tholinnas is fairly laid back and seldom ruffled while being very honor-bound. He smiles often, has an infectious laugh and makes jokes/snide comments frequently.

Not too inclined to let himself get attached to people, places or things.
Sometimes reckless, he normally acts out of the best intentions.


tall, even for an elf. He has dark sandy hair and green/grey eyes.
