Interesting answer Lindarielwen. When Helen Keller was asked the same thing, she choose blindness saying she had an excellent imagination and, with practice could see things in her mind's eye. She said she couldn't compensate the same way with hearing, and would give anything to hear the voices of the people she loved, or a piece music whose rhythm she could only get a small sense of. I must say that I would make the same choice as her.

As for the crashing plane, I have no death wish, but I have an insatiable curiosity and, I love to travel to other places so it's the spacecraft for me.

Would you rather have gone with Marco Polo to Asia, or Cortez to the Americas?
