Post The Alphabet Game - Part 10

Rules: Post the names of characters, locations, creatures or objects found in any of Tolkien's works. Since there are minimal words beginning with "Y" and "Z", and no words beginning with "X", these letters will be forever deleted from the Tolkienverse alphabet: you may also choose to eliminate "J" and "K" as well .... poster's choice.

To make the game more interesting, add a very brief description of the character, location, creature, or object you have used.

For example:

W is for Walls of Night, the ancient boundaries of Arda.

I mean...A is for Aragorn, one of the Dunedain, 39th Heir of Isildur in the direct line, King of the reunited realms of Arnor and Gondor after the War of the Ring, wedded Arwen, daughter of Elrond.
