Fortunately, after covering his nose to block the odour emanating from the foot, Aragorn was able to use some athelas to heal said blister.

Unfortunately, there was no more athelas left to be applied to the rash, since Aragorn had stuffed the rest of it into his pipe, and was smoking it with a rather goofy smile on his face.
