I want this confirmed (or no?) explicitly. Isildur only possibly being involved had me reacting with a "duh?!?".

This event took place after the Battle so Gil-galad was dead. As for Isildur, he died in the same year, but I don't know whether his death occurred before, or after, the event in question so I can't tell you if he actually participated in the event.

1. Do you occur in the First Age? No
2. Are you a battle? Not specifically - No
3. Do you occur in the Second Age? Yes
4. Do you occur in Númenor? No
5. Is Sauron involved? You betcha!
6. Do you occur in Middle-earth? Yes
7. Do you occur East of Anduin? Yes
8. Is it a creative event? No
9. Do you occur during the war that the Last Alliance of Men and Elves led by Elendil and Gil-galad fought against Sauron at the end of the Second Age? After all that, No
10. Do you involve the Númenoreans? No
11. Do you occur before the war mentioned in question 9? No
12. Is Isildur involved? Not sure, possibly?
13. Is Gil-galad involved? No. He's dead.
14. Is Elendil involved? No. He's dead also.
15. Are you mentioned in the timeline in the LotR appendices? Unfortunately, I don't have the appendices but, since I'm a major event, my educated guess would be yes.

Guess 1: Are you the “partial” collapse of Barad-dûr which occurs after Isildur cuts the One Ring (and the relevant finger) from Sauron’s hand, causing Sauron to flee and ending the War of the Last Alliance?
