Welcome all new students.

Our mod Malinorne will pair you up as soon as she returns from her work (see also the "mára mesta" topic).

However, if someone of the more advanced students is willing to be a study buddy for one of you, feel free to pm them *and* Mal.

Until you get paired up, you can ofcourse always ask your questions on the forum.

Level of Quenya studies: Just completed workbooks for lesson 9, but need review on earlier levels as I have not been thinking about it as much as of late. I need to relearn some stuff and touch up on it.

Partner:Any level from 5-10

Timezone:EST (toronto)

I would also like someone that I could talk to in Quenya over MSN. Although I do not know much, only simple phrases and up to lesson 9. I would like to talk to ppl in it more, with english for parts I don't know.

I'd be interetsed in being a study buddy. I am currently working on Adjectives---Lesson 4 and am also doing the ardalambion course.

By the way, I teach English so the technical explanations of the "parts of speech" don't frighten me if anyone needs help.

Frodogal, that's great that you'll let us know if you find a study buddy on your own. I paired Kimberley up with someone else a few days ago (sorry for not announcing it here), but she might not mind having two buddies.

Calenmarwen, you can send a private message (PM) to someone by clicking the button "PM" in a post by that person. You can also go to "Private Messages", under "Community" in the main menu, and send it from there. This is also where you go to read PMs sent to you. Would you like a buddy on a higher level than yourself, or someone on a more equal level?

Experienced is a little better but I'm not too picky.

It is Sindarin, so should rather be posted in the main Elvish101 forum... and I believe I did reply to your original post there yesterday...
The meaning would be something like "What do you hope for?"

I went through 10+ lessons but the only one I firmly grasped was the first one. ^^" Now I have some scattered true knowledge of nouns, articles, and other random things, but those are all melding into a blur. So I stopped learning but would like to pick it up again. I'm actually very good with languages but taking up a packet to read over in your room by yourself makes you feel very alone and rather hopeless about achieving anything...

Main (and only truly fluent language): English (American; there is a difference)

Level: We'll say Lesson 2 for a better understanding

Preferred study buddy: Equal or more advanced, but not too much so or I start to feel really dumb...lol

Method of contact: Either through my hotmail account or the yahoo one, I hate AOL *stabs*
