Tar-Telemmaitë
Telemmaitë was the son of Tar-Ancalimon. When he took the sceptre he became the fifteenth of the Kings of Númenor.
Telemmaitë took this name because of his love of silver. He sent his servants to seek always for mithril.
From the time of Telemmaitë on the Kings ruled in name from the time of their father's death until their own though the actual power passed often sooner to their sons or counselors.
The lifespan of the Númenóreans began to shorten under the lengthening Shadow over Númenor.
Tar-Telemmaitë reigned for 140 years and was succeeded by his daughter Tar-Vanimeldë in SA 2526.
