Nope, not at all. It can just be a funny saying -- but it has to be in image format (i.e. text saved as a .jpg, which can be done in any graphics program).

I did a doodle in math class on the back of my test paper (I was really really bored) of the Fellowship leaf-pin things and wrote "Not idly do the leaves of Lorien fall" in a slanted handwriting thingy (I'll send it to you if you want.)
I also came up with this:
"At the Council of Elrond, we do not make racial slurs...
'Poncy elf'
Stupid dwarf
Weak human
Drunk hobbit'
...we only important them from Middle Earth."
Whaddya think? Too racy? Funny?

Yet another one - "We swears on, on the Precious!" with a Photoshop of Gollum putting his hand on a boxed set of the LotR books. Can anyone do that? If you will, email it to me and I shall love you forever - I don't have Photshop. Grr.

This thread has some awesome ideas for t-shirts! I would love to wear most these t-shirts!

On the front of a t-shirt you could have just about any LOTR picture and on the back it would sy, "yes, I am obsessed"

I don't know if any of these have been done before, but I'll do them.

I saw a banner that said, "Shoes are so overrated" It showed the hobbit feet, so put that on a shirt and there you go.
Another one would be, I have this shirt that says "You are not worthy" I would put a picture of my favorite LotR's character and change it to, "You are not worthy to be in my presence" lol, the person who would be on it for me would be my dearest Haldir.
