Jeanne woke up early the next more and dressed. She packed up the rest of her items and made her way back down stairs. There she met up with Dumbledore who took her to the same back room they were in the previous day. The fire was going as he closed the door and pulled out a bag. Jeanne snuck a peek as she saw green, sparkly powder portude from the old man's hand as he pulled it out from the bag and threw it into the fire turning it green as well. He turned to Jeanne right quick as he spoke quickly, "Head back into the pub. There a giant man named Hagrid will meet you and help you to Hogwarts. I have business to attend to else where I'm afraid but I will meet you there shortly." With that he turned back to the fire spoke loud and clearly, "Ministry of Magic" and stepped into the fire disappearing along with the fire. Jeanne let out a sigh and shook her head as she took it all in. "This place is getting stranger and stranger.", she said as she headed out of the room and back into the pub where she saw the giant of a man. She approached him asking, "Hagrid?" He turned and looked up at her waving a massive hand at her at first just to show he acknowledged her being there. Suddenly he looked back again his beady eyes grow slightly bigger by the second. He stood as he spoke to her, " 'ello. My name's Hagrid... you must be Ms. Evans?" Jeanne nodded smiling at him slightly. He motioned for her to head to the back of the pub out in a different alley way than the one she went to the previous day that was the entrance to Diagon Alley. There stood an old motorcycle big enough for at least three or four people to get on. Hagrid turned asking her, "You want me to strap your bags on, ma'am?" "Oh... yes. Thank you.", she said as she handed him her bags. He quickly strapped them on and sat on the cycle himself as he said, "Well come on. We have to hurry and get to the castle before the children do." Jeanne didn't really know what else to do but jump on and hang on tight as the motorcycle started and took off into the air off towards Hogwarts...

((Hey! I was wondering... I could lurk for a while, but I have read the whole thing so far-sounds cool. I know if you say yes I won't be needed for yonks, unless Jazira feels the need to chat, but would you like a Sirius? Cos I'd love to do it, even though I have a mystery daughter, who I quite like! So, um, I'll hang around for a reply. Thanks a lot.

(yes please join oceanelin it would be cool to have a sirius.)

Ron sat down next to Johnathon and Harry sat donw next to him. "So Johnathon? It's your first year? Wicked exciting, I remember my first year.-" a knock sounded on the door. "Ron!" sqeaked a small voice. "Ron the trains stopped and I'm scared." Ginny" ron muttered under his breathe. "Com ein!" he called and then whispered. "stupid git"..............Ginny entered the compartment with neville longbottom trailing behind her. They sat down and introduced themselves to johnathon. "Who's that guy?" Harry asked, pointing towards a older sort of scraggly man sleeping in a corner. "He's been alseep the whole time." Johnathon noted. Suddenly the lights flickered. Ginny moaned softly, the door slowly slid open, a cold feeling flooded over th elot of them. "What is going on?" jonathon gasped as if he were sucking for air. Harry's eyelids closed and he fainted suddenly onto the floor. Ron felt all of his happiness leave his mind and body he shut his eyes, The man in the corner stood up. "Go away!" he said, "none of us is hiding sirius black under our cloals! EXPECTO PATRANUM!" he roared, sending a silvery wisp of a figure out at the cloacked figure. The figure left in a hurry and harry slowly began coming around....

((Mystery daughter huh... *walks away pondering to herself* And what do you mean by, "Who I really like"? Are you hitting on me? Cause... I'm single and looking if you want to know! ))

"Ronald Weasly!" Hermione yelled trying to get Ron to slow down.
"Ya called?" he asked looking up.
"You know I've looked all over the train for you two!" she fiercly pointed her finger at Harry and Ron. She then noticed Jonathon sitting in the compartment. "Well hello! I'm Hermione Granger, and you are?" She took a seat and held out her hand.
"I'm Johnathon Philby!" he shook hands.
"Ron! The trains stopped and I'm scared!" came Ginny's squeaking voice. The whole compartment began to get cold. The windows froze over and Hermione could see everyones breath as they breathed.
Suddenly a giant cloaked figure loomed in the doorway. Harry fell out of his seat, and a man Hermione hadn't noticed before stood up. "Go away!" he said, "None of us is hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks! EXPECTO PATRANUM!" The thing left and Harry started coming around.

*************************************************

Jazira swept through the crowed platform of 9 3/4. Tears silently fell down her face as she boarded the Hogwarts Express. She found an empty compartment at the end of the train. She locked the door and let her heart go. She hated having a covict for a father... and having to stay at the wretched Malfoy's house. She missed sitting in their little home away from everyone, playing Wizard Chess, or catching gnomes in the garden, or even practicing flying brooms. She smiled at the good times and silently wished to herself... that one day... things would be they way they were before.

((I saw the third movie last night!!! *dances a jig*))

Jeanne was escorted up the stairs and into the castle. She stood flabberguasted at the whole sight of it all. She continued to follow Hagrid as they made their way to Dumbledore's office. They stopped in front of a statue of a goblin/gargoyle as Hagrid mumbled something about lemon drops. Jeanne turned as the statue moved away revealing a spiral stair case leading to the top of a tower. Jeanne and Hagrid followed it soon enough arriving to a wooden door. Hagrid opened it letting Jeanne in first as he spoke, "Dumbledore'll be here in a bit. Just wait here." He turned to leaving when suddenly Jeanne spoke up, "Thank you Hagrid. For everything..." He turned back to her looking her up and down and then just staring at her face. "You look just like her." Hagrid blushed slightly at his statement as Jeanne smiled replying, "I know..." With that he nodded and left. Jeanne looked around the office when suddenly she saw a mass of feathers in the corner. She began to walk towards it when it moved and there sat a pheonix. She smiled and was in total awe as she beheld what she thought to be a mythological creature. She raised her hand to it... the pheonix nuzzled her hand as she lifted the other to stroke it. The pheonix suddenly wept letting a tear fall onto her arm... one that bore many a scar from mysterious events. It was as if he wept for her wounds... wounds that couldn't heal. Suddenly the first time Jeanne realized that there was whispering in the room. She looked around to see where the voices were coming from as she made her way closer and closer to the right sided wall of the tower. Finally a voice spoke aloud, "Alright... I'll ask her. Hey you!" Jeanne looked around the office and then up at the ceiling when finally the voice spoke again, "No... over here on the wall." Jeanne looked to see a man moving in one of the portraits. He seemed like a very shadowy, shadey kind of person... one not many a person trust. He looked down at her as he spoke, "Who are you and why are you here?" Before Jeanne could answer a voice came from behind her, "She is one of the new professors of the school." Jeanne turned to see Dumbledore speaking at the picture. He seemed a tad irriated and didn't really want to deal with this picture apparently. "Is there a problem with that?", Dumbledore asked slightly sarcastically. The man sneered at Dumbledore as he turned and walked out of the door in his picture. "Please... lets begin on what you intend to teach the children.", Dumbledore said motioning towards a chair. The next couple of hours they went over the lesson plan for the next couple of weeks when finally Dumbledore rose saying, "I think that's enough for now. You better get ready for the feast tonight." Jeanne nodded as she rose and headed to the door. She opened it to find two people, a kind witch and a very shadey wizard, standing there. "Oh... Professor McGonegall. Professor Snape. This is Professor Evans-" Dumbledore began but Jeanne quickly jumped in, "Evanson. I'm the new teacher for the Study of Muggle History." She nodded to the two of them as she passed them continuing, "Sorry to leave but I have to prepare for tonight. Nice to meet you both.", she said and then left. She went down the stairs and out into the halls making her way to her room for the next nine months or so....

(Sorry I haven't posted in awhile... ))

Lira jumped up as the train slowed down and finally came to a stop. She kept her balance and walked down the train halls. Quickly she found Harry's compartment. But someone had found it before her. Gasping she ran over to the dementor and yelled quickly, hearing someone else say it. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!!!!" Lira's wand shot out a silvery white light. Slowly it formed an owl. A rather huge one at that. Lira watched as the Dementor shrieked and ran away from both the patronus charms.

Quickly she ran into the room and looked down. "Harry! Oh gosh Harry please be ok, wake up!"
"He's fine. He'll wake up in about an hour."
Lira looked up to find a man, gangly with worn out clothes. Lira smiled and nodded her head. "May I ask who you are, sir?"

"Lupin. Remus Lupin. Professer of the Dark Arts." Lupin said, holding out his hand. Lira took it and stood up. "That was a nice patronus there..."
"Lira Renly."
"Miss Renly, very nice!"
"I've had practice. My father taught me how in Diagon Alley."

She watched as Harry started to wake up. Lira smiled as he got out the chochlate and handed it to Harry as he came to his senses.
********************
Rena sighed, staring out the window. She loved rainy days but this was pityful. It was barely coming down. Rena felt a jolt as the train slowed down and the lights flickered off. Down the way of the corridors she heard two people yell out the Patronus charm. She was freezing but the lights came back on and the train started moving again. Rena excused herself from the others and went to look for Draco. Wondering if he knew what had just happened.

Lira tucked her wand away into her pocket and sat down next to Ron and put a hand on his shoulder. "A dementor, they are known to giving unhappiness to any who is near. They feed off your lonesome soul. After too long they bend over and kiss you, sucking the sould out of your skull." She informed, not wanting to break it to him so suddenly. "They are known to be the worst things in the wizarding world. They also guard Azkaban Prison."

Lira moved a piece of her red hair away from her face and stood next to Lupin as he started breaking peices of chocolate for Harry.

((LOL, told you Lira had the smarts like Hermione. Lira fears spiders as much as Ron does, but also fears a painful death. Mostly a death from Voldemort. ))

((Well quit being such a smarty pants Miss. Smartypants! Let Hermione and Jazira get at least SOME (*cough* MOST *cough*) credit!!))

"So what are you going to teach?" Ron asked Proffesor Lupin as he handed everyone a peice of chocolate.
"Ron! Think about it! What job spaces are open! He's our new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher!" Hermione said accepting her chocolate and put it in her mouth, her insides began to warm right up and all of her happy thoughts began returning to her.
******************************
Jazira opened her eyes. She was lying on the floor of her compartment with the door wide open. Shoot! Now they're after him! She sat up as beads of cold sweat fell down her face. She wiped them away with the sleeve of her robe. She stood up with her wobbly feet and stepped into the hall of the train. Students could be heard whispering among themselves as to what had just happened. She walked down the hall in search of at least one friendly face but to come upon Malfoy and his fellow Slytherins.
"Nice going Black! Why don't you just tell those bloody dementors where your father is and be done with it!" Malfoy sneered.
"UNLIKE yourself Malfoy, I am LOYAL to my father! I would NEVER do anything to put him in danger!" Jazira snapped returning to her journey through the train. She then stopped in front of Harry, Ron, and Hermione's compartment.
Ron looked up, a look of fear crept across his face. "So... is it true? Are... are you REALLY... Sirius Black's daughter?"
They've found out! Jazira looked at the others in the compartment. There was a teacher and another student. "I... a..." Jazira looked at the floor. Please not let this get me in trouble! She then took a deep breath... looked back up at the others... and nodded.

(yeah sure go ahead, where did our sirius go??????)

Ron saw the look the girl Lira gave him after he had foolishly asked her if she was sirius's daughter. Hemione gave him a sharp elbow in the ribs. "Bloody hell." he said looking at her. "What was that for?" "For being you." she sniffed. Ron muttered something about a crazy olf bat and returned to Lira. "I'm sorry I blurted, I just well I blurt alot." just as he finished his sentence he felt something creeping up his arm..."AGHHHHH!!" he yelled jumping up. "SPIDER!!!" Everyone stared at him and Hermione and Harry laughed slightly....

(Sorry I haven't posted in a while guys. My comp was messed up. But it kinda fits since my character stays at hogwarts on her summers and doesn't get to ride the train.)

*Artemis yawned as she laid lazily in the soft meadow grass near Hagrid's hut. Her unicorn Sayna was grazing not to far off. After the trip to Diagon Alley, Artemis had to conjure back Sayna's horn. The unicorn was very happy to have it back. Artemis wondered what was taking the Hogwarts Express so long. "It must be running late or had problems or something." Artemis muttered to herself. She was dying to tell Ron, Harry, and Hermione about the things that were floating around the castle. Black robed, shady creatures that floated. They made Artemis' heart skip a beat and her eyes glaze with fear and unhapppiness at the same time. And their weren't many things that she was afraid of.

Artemis had been thinking a lot since the news of this Sirius Black came up about his escape. She looked at the stars more and paid attention to omens and signs more clearly. Living with centaurs her whole life has made her like them in many ways including being well learned in Divination and Astronomy. Artemis noted the brightness of Mars and frowned. It was not four days ago that she saw a large black dog in the forest in a dream. She knew it was an omen for death but she was not convinced that was what it meant. The dog's eyes were fierce and showed suffering but they did not look evil. Artemis was in her wolf form in the dream and all she did was stand opposite the dog and stare at him. That was all. She thought of this everyday and tried to find a meaning.

Artemis finally got up and walked over to give Sayna a pat before heading back to her dormitory. The feast of the first eve of school would be soon and she would need to change into her robes. She knew McGonnagal would snap at her for not being properly dressed if she didn't. Feeling slightly bored, Artemis turned into a wolf and loped up to the entrance hall. She ran through the halls, her footpads barely making a sound as they hit stone. When she reached the door to her common room she changed back to a human. She couldn't talk as a wolf and she needed to mutter the password.**

"Defence Aginst the Dark Arts is right! I am very glad to have the job".Remus said cherrfuly as he ate his choclate frog
It was my favorite class when I went to Hogwarts as well as transfiguration but Defence Against the Dark arts tops them all.

Moving along Remus leaves Hermione and Ron and heads back to his class room and once more checks his moon chart to doubble check that the moon will be full within 10 days as it should.

"can't be too careful one can never know what happens if I don't have my potion or go to my tree.... unless your Sirius,James,or Petter".

Felling better with himself knowing that indeed that the full moon is in 10 days Remus gets himself ready for his next class and prepares materals for the boggrats to the class(as well for the extra lessons later to his patronus students).

Jeanne emerged a couple of hours later dressed in her robes and headed downstairs to the dining hall. As she went down the steps a dog/wolf passed her. "Beg your pardon...", she said smiling slightly as she moved out of the canine's way and continued on down the stairs. Soon enough she was in the hall and was admiring it all. "Wow!", she said as she began walking in but stopped when a voice behind her spoke, "Yes.. first thing I said when I first stepped in this hall as well." She turned to see Dumbledore behind her. She smiled and nodded to him as he continued, "I do say my dear. I wonder if there was a possiblity that I could ask a favor of you?" Jeanne wondered what it could be so letting her curiousity get the best of her she replied, "Of course head master." He extended his arm as the two made their way down the aisle of the hall. "Is it at all possible if you could use a different name?", he asked suprising Jeanne some. "May I ask why sir?", she said as they made their way up the steps and to the teachers' table. "I'm afraid that both of the names you have now are not good ones to use around here. Jeanne Evans, your real name, is considered to be have been killed long ago by some of Voldermort's men. Jeanne Taylor, your other name, has been identified as the WitchHunter that so many people now a days are finding out about especially here in this community and I'm afraid it may cause quite a scare.", Dumbledore replied as he and Jeanne sat on the edge of the table. She nodded understanding both reasons very well. "Well... how about...", she began as she thought of a name. Finally it hit her, "Kim Evanson?" Dumbledore nodded for a bit taking in the name and then smiled his eyes sparkling slightly as he said, "Perfect." The two of them made their way out of the great hall when Hagrid approached, "Dumbledore. The train still hasn't shown up at Hogsmeade Station." Dumbledore nodded then said to Jeanne, "You better get the other teachers. They should be in the Teachers' Louge right now. Tell them to enter the Great Hall and wait for their students." And with that he turned and entered into the darkness of the night with Hagrid...

Johnathan felt cold all over when the creature cme into thier compartment, but never to be one to step back from an enemy, he drew his wand, but when the thing actually entered in through the door, he fellt sick to his stomach, and cold but he didn't faint. When the professer shouted an incantation and the creature left Harry came around pretty quick, and the new Professer handed everyone a piece of chocolate and Harry a extra large piece, then he left. Johnathan sat around disscussing what the heck had just happened. Within no time, though they were coming to another stop, and the kids started to grab their stuff and leave the train, Johnathan just followed along behind Harry, Ron, and Hermione, to a carraige and up to the front steps where a tall strict looking women called his name and took him away. When everyone else had gone he was placed with the first years and then brought into the great hall along with all the First Years. When everyone else had been sorted he placed the hat on his head, and he could talking in his ear. Finally after what seemed an eternity the hat called out in a loud voice, "GRYFFINDOR!" The table to the right errupted in shouts of excitement. He walked over and sat with Harry and everyone as a tall regal looking wizard called everyone to silence...

((Hello there, I noticed there is a lack of 'bad guys', so would you mind me playing such a character? If not, I'll delete this post.))

Griffin sighed as he exited the mansion. It wasn't his own, oh no! He had been banned from the Malfoy residence some time ago. The arguments with his hopelessly old-fashioned father and his own, slightly controversial, ideas had caused him to be banned from the Malfoy family. He was a disgrace, they said. A disgrace! His little sister was a disgrace! The way she managed to get into Gryffindor said enough. And Draco, his little brother, had been chasing gosts for the last few years. Griffin, twenty-one years old, the oldest son in the Malfoy family, an albino, which according to his father marked him as an abomination and according to himself as destined for greatness, was in fact not much different from the rest of the family. He had attended Hogwarts, of course in Slytherin, he hated muggles and ignored mud-bloods, they hadn't the right to exist. The major difference was, he wasn't in with Voldemort. He saw Voldemort, and all the commotion around him, as overrated. So let that miracle boy Potter bravely kill himself, and that so-called Dark Lord with him. Two down, and not a muscle moved.
As Griffin walked along the path of his best friend's mansion, an owl fluttered through his light. He stopped and looked up, as the dark colored owl landed in front of him, holding out it's claw. Griffin untied a piece of parchment and rolled it out. A note was written on it, the smooth, elegant strokes indicating it was his mother's.

Griffin,
There are changes on the horizon. Things will happen and I do not know what that will mean. Perhaps you've heard the news, Black has escaped and there are Dementors at Hogwarts. I know you act like you don't care, but please, at least read this. I am concerned about Draco and Jamie. Please go to them, I need to know if they're alright. I can't leave, but I couldn't get another night's sleep without nightmares because I don't know. Write me back. I shall send an owl to you every two nights.
Your mother

Griffin sighed and rubbed his eyes. He then grabbed a pencil and scribbled on the backside of the note "Very well. I shall leave immediately." After all, family was family, and his mother had always been kind. He gave the note back to the owl and returned to the mansion. He packed his few possesions, bound his long, white hair with a red strip of cloth matching his eyes and flung the bag on his back. His wand was up the sleeve of his shirt and some coins in his pocket. He grabbed his broom and left through the open window. To Hogwarts it is.

*Artemis stretched as she climbed the stairs the Ravenclaw common room to the girl's dormitory. "I wonder who that girl was in the hall." Artemis shrugged her shoulders and sighed when she thought of how she was going to have to share the dormitory again when the students arrived. That's one thing she loved about summers; a big empty room and castle. But she was eager to know what her knew divination and care of magical creatures class would be like. Both would be easy she just hoped they would be interesting. Artemis threw on her robes with disgust. She hated "dress code" and beign told what to where. "I have lived with centaurs too long, who hate wearing anything." she said aloud with a slight laugh. Artemis missed living with the herd even though she visited them often.

Artemis adjusted her snowy white hair in front of mirror. It fell to her lower back in length and glistened in the light. She pulled half of it back and tied it. She was very much looking forward to the feast. In fact, she looked forward to eating anytime. But the feast for the new term was always exquisite. As grabbed her wand from the dresser and tucked it in her robes, someting caught her eye. She hurried to the window and looked down. She could see the first years coming across the lake and could clearly make out Hagrid. She could also see the carriages strolling down the gravel path towards the front gate of Hogwarts. Artemis smiled and turned to leave the dormitory and head for the Great Hall.**

"I'm going to head up to Hogwarts and try to find... Jazira! I'll see you two inside!" Hermione smiled and waved a little goodbye to her two best friends. She hopped off the train and into Hogwarts. As soon as she walked into the Great Hall, she saw Jazira sitting at the end of the Gryffindor table closest to the door.
************************************
Jazira walked up the path to her true home Hogwarts. She stepped inside and took a seat at the far end of the Gryffindor table. She smiled as she looked around the familiar scenary of the Great Hall. She saw Hermione come in so she looked towards the teacher's table. She saw Proffesor Lupin, he seemed to be cool enough to take on the job of Defense Against the Dark Arts. But there seemed to be a new Muggle History teacher. She didn't seem to be a witch... but Dumbledor wouldn't have a Muggle teach at Hogwarts... would he?
"Jazira?"
Jazira looked up and saw Hermione Granger standing beside her. "Yes?"
"Well... I know you probably are trying to keep yourself away from others since... you know... about your father. But... you're probably nothing like your father... and..."
"You're trying to say that you don't care who my dad is... it's just you care that I don't have friends?"
Hermione blushed and turned her back.
"Look... you can be my friend if you REALLY want... but I'm not sure if Ron... or Harry would like that much! I mean... EVERYONE thinks my dad's after Harry! And... I mean... he's NOT! He never did any of that stuff! It..." she was cut off by Malfoy who had just "accidentally" ran into Hermione.
"Didn't see ya there Granger!" He sniggered. "And Black! Don't go making friends with them MUDBLOODS! It won't mix with your reputation!"
"Why I ought to..." Jazira was about to pull out her wand when Proffesor Snape walked by.
"Now what do we have here? Sirius Black's daughter... and Mr. Malfoy!" Snape eyed Jazira and she returned the glare. "Don't be starting trouble early Black! I wanted at least ONE free week before I see you in detention!" He stormed off and took his place a the teacher's table.
"See ya later Black! Granger!" Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle left and took there seats at the Slytherin table.
"Oooo! I'm gonna ring his neck one of these days!" Jazira said.
"Give him a ring for me too will ya?" Hermione asked. Jazira smiled and they both sat down, waiting for the feast to begin.

(cloakmaker: sure ur character sounds cool)

Ron was still adjusting to life at hogwarts again. Those dementors on the train had really freaked him, and to see "Harry pass out was just odd because he'd faced so much evil before. Just as Ron was heading towards the common room something large and ginger attacked his head. "DAMN YOU CROOKSHANKS!" he cried prying the cat off of his head. After some hissing, spitting, and some more cursing from ron the cat left. Ron wearily sat down in the common room and looked around. "I'm not just going to sit here." he decided, standing up and walking through the fat lady potrait. He might as well wander the halls....After about 10 minutes Ron got the eerie feeling someone was watching him. He quickened his pace and finally stopped when he turned a corner, someone was following him.

Jeanne, or Kim, sat down at the teachers' table as the students began to fill in the room. She saw Professor Snape talking to two of the girls from one of the tables as a young man with platinum blonde hair stood next to him sneering at the two girls. Kim didn't like the situation at all but thought it best not to bother with it until she knew more about those four. She looked up as Professor Dumbledore stood to make his announcements for the year. Kim only followed half of it until he finally came to some of the more important announcements. "This year I'm sad to say that our former Professor for the Care of Magical Creatures class has decided to retire and enjoy the rest of his days with his remaining limbs. However it pleases me to announce that we have found a new teacher and a very familiar. Please welcome our very own Rubius Hagrid." Many people cheered especially from the Gryffindor table as Hagrid stood and bowed slightly blushing as well. He sat down quickly as Dumbledore continued, "I also like to welcome our new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Remus Lupin. Good luck this year Professor Lupin." Many people applauded out of curtisy for the new teacher. As the room hushed Dumbledore continued, "And finally a new teacher has joined our staff this year as she will be teaching Muggle World History. Please welcome Professor Kim Evanson." Many people applauded as Kim rose and bowed slightly to the audience. Her blood red hair caught the candlelight beautifully as her emerald green eyes glistened gazing upon the faces of the students. Suddenly her eyes landed on Harry... for a brief moment all time seemed to stop as the two gazed into each others' eyes. 'Where do I know him from?', she thought as she heard the applause die out and she sat. Finally she took her gaze away from him and began looking at Dumbledore when she saw something or someone peeking out of a door next to the teachers' table... whoever it was had very pale skin with bloody red hair like her's and with eyes to go with it...

Remus was standing in the corner listening to professor Snape
after Snape stormed away to the teachers table Remus decided to follow.
"Severus"! snape turned around to look at Remus "What!" snape said.
"um don't you think you were a little too hard on the girls I mean after all she's not Black herself"? "I'm just asking if you go a little easier on her despite her being Blacks daughter".
Snape was very frustrated with this and decided he would take in what Remus was saying just because he didn't want Remus on him every time he was being "too hard" on Blacks daughter.
" Alright very well I'll be slightly nicer to Blacks daughter knowing she is not Black herself and knowing that no two people are ever the same".
Hearing this Remus thanked Severus and hurried back to the Griffendoor table to tell Blacks daughter and Hermione.

Johnathan dug into the feast and asked those around him all the questions that popped into his mind. For the most parts the most factual information that had very little emotional issues attached to it were answered by Hermione. Yet those questions about some of the other students and teachers, and some of the other things happening around the castle were answered by some of the other students.

Johnathan ate his fill of the food placed before them that never seemed to dissappear. But when every one began to slow down the Headmaster whom Johnathan ad learned was named Albus Dumbledore, stood once again and announced for the prefects to take the students off to thier dormatories. And so Johnathan followed Harry and everyone off to the thier rooms. At the top of the stair case Johnathan followed the fifth year students off to thier dorm where his things had already been brought up and he wasted no time in going to sleep so that he could wake early the next morning.

Jamie walked towards Hermione and Jazira. "Hi Jaz! I heard you talking 'bout my lovely brother. If you break his neck, can you do that for me too? He really has to stop calling people mudbloods. I hate that word!"

(( There can never be enough bad guys, true, true... ))

Griffin had been underway for the rest of the day, and in the dark of the night he spotted the lights of Hogwarts below. He landed just outside the castle grounds, and began walking to a medium sized boulder embedded in the earth. A few taps of a wand later he shook off the rain from his cape and rested his broom against a wall of the underground chamber. He adjusted his pack and began walking down the narrow passageway towards Hogwarts. The feast should be beginning by now, no-one in the halls would notice him coming. The passageway ended in another stone chamber, behind a painting. He put his wand to the back of it and the painting became transparent, for him. The hallways were deserted and Griffin mumbled 'Bloody Baron' and stepped through the painting, which turned out to be, indeed, the Bloody Baron. The painting frowned and shook his head. "It's been a long time, Griffin. Why are you here?" Griffin bowed his head to the painting. "Nothing of interest, sir." "But I suppose you want me to keep this a secret...?" The figure crossed his arms and exited his painting as Griffin smiled. Two turns later he arrived at the wall which was the entrance to the Slytherin commonroom. Of which he didn't know the current password. Always handy to know how to install emergency spells in a door like this. "Let me in, Griffin Malfoy, let me in." He spoke slowly with a wand to the door and it opened silently. Griffin grinned and stepped inside. A fire was burning already and he sat down in the chair closest to the fireplace. The feast should be over soon.

"Hey Jamie." Jazira said. "I REALLY want to break his neck... but then that leaves me with no place to stay! Your father would probably kick me out of your house!"
"But you're family!" Jamie protested.
"VERY distantly related, though!" Jazira grinned.
"Do you know why Snapes allways so down-right rude to you?" Hermione asked after they had finished eating and were headed up to the dormitories.
"Well... my father and him were REAL enemies of each other. My father usually had the upperhand since him and his friends were allways together. Snape was just a nerdy student at the time, so my dad and his friends allways picked on him. He's probably being mean to me so he can get his payback since my dad's not here to do anything about it!"
The fat lady portrait was all ready opened because the 1st years were scrambling inside. "Percy! What's the password for this year?" Hermione asked the Gryffindor Prefect, who was also Ron's older brother.
"It's 'Fortuna Major'!" Percy said looking up from the book he was reading by the firelight.
"That won't be so hard to forget!" Jazira commented as her and Hermione took comfy chairs by the fire.
"Well... Neville might not like it! You know how he... oh wait... you took private lessons for two years didn't you?"
"Yeah..."
"Why?"
"The Malfoy's said that it wasn't a good idea to be putting in society with people who are afraid of my father. But Proffesor Dumbledor found out so he told me to start taking classes with my house!" Jazira sighed and reclined in her chair.

(( Uhm, I was wondering, do we have a Draco Malfoy...? I believe not, so I'll play him whenever I'll need to. ))

As Draco entered the commonroom, he noticed it wasn't empty, as he had thought, in fact, the person who was sitting there before the fire, back to the door, was occupying one of the finest chairs in the room. His chair. He stared at the unknown person for a while, eyes narrowing, the only sound that of the fire and water dripping somewhere in the dungeons as Crabbe broke the silence.
"Uhm, isn't that... your chair...?" He asked Draco, puzzled by the new factor. "Yes, it is." hissed Draco, and he started towards the chair as the man in it turned around, his red eyes shining like the fire behind him for a moment. "Well, finally. I've been waiting for you. And for the record, this chair was mine long before you had ever set foot in this castle."
__________________________

"I do not need protection!" Draco was obviously not happy about the idea of his older brother watching him. A brother banned from the family, no less. But a promise was made and he had no say in it. He was still fuming when Griffin left the commonroom, after instructing him to relay a message to Jamie. She was to meet him tomorrow, after class, in the Owlery. And then Griffin left the castle, to find a room to stay in at Hogsmeade.

*At the feast, Artemis elbowed through a group of first and second year Slytherins as she tried to get to the Gryffindor table. The Ravenclaw's were ok but Artemis really didn't care to talk to any of them. She got to a nearly empty tableand didn't see Harry, Ron, or Hermione."Hmm..gone to their common room I suspect. From what I here there was a dementor on the Hogwarts Express. I guess they have had a rough night." Artemis growled to herself as she walked back to the Ravenclaw table.

On the way Artemis glanced at the staff table. She hadn't really paid much attention to Dumbledore's opening speech but she remembered hearing him mention a new defense against the dark arts teacher. She roved through the teachers looking and then her eyes locked on him. A dusty haired fellow with a bit of gray mixed in. He didn't look very old and looked as though he had had a tough life. But that and the scars on his face weren't what held Artemis' gaze. He had now seen her looking at him and he held her stare. Artemis could smell something of the fellow. He wasn't normal...He wasn't human! Artemis narrowed her eyes and they flashed. Artemis watched him all the way to her table. She looked away to grab her school hat and from the corner of her eye she could see what looked like a wolf seated at a chair at the staff table. She quickly spun around only to see the same dusty haired professor who looked just as surprised as her. Artemis snarled as she hurried off back to her common room. "He knows I know... The first defense against the dark arts class should be quite interesting." **

After a few hours of disccusing which spells seemed more sufficiet to use when surrounded by a huge mass of trolls, Hermione and Jazira headed upstairs to the girl dormitory. There wasn't anyone else inside, so Jazira and Hermione changed from their uniforms to their nightgowns. Hermione's bed was right next to Jazira's so Hermione began to tell Jazira what her 1st and 2nd years were like. After that, Hermione drifted to sleep, which left Jazira to her thinking. From her bedside table, she opened the drawer and pulled out a photo album. She opened to some page in the middle, which was of her father, when he was in his 5th year, and his his closest friends James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin. She imediatly recognized Peter as her new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. "Well! Seems to me that Mooney's here at school, Prongs is dead, Padfoot's on the run, and Wormtail... hasn't been heard from... since the night my father was taken in..." Now that really stumped Jaz. Why would he go into hiding... Jazira thought about that for awhile before sleep had taken over.

Johnathan had walked past a young girl with white hair, but he wasn't that shocked to see it, he had been here long enough to know there were some different things. Now that he was in bed, he was going over everything he had heard trying to remeber it, then he woke up. It was already daylight outside, and so he grabbed his things and bolted for the great hall, but he got lost along the way, and once he found his way there people had begun to leave, he got his schedule, and grabbed some toast then he followed another group of gryffindors down to the dungeons, for class with Professor Snape, Potions by far Johnathan's worst subject.

After the meal, Kim left for her new room and to prepare for tomorrow morning. As she headed out the door she ran into Professor Lupin by mistake. "I'm so terribly sorry!", they both uttered at the same time. Lupin stood and helped Kim off the floor. "So your new here, huh?", he asked her. "Well yes but... what about you? You've been here before?", Kim asked questioningly as they both headed down the hallway together. Soon enough Kim had found out alot about Remus Lupin (except for you know what) but she hadn't breathed a word to him about herself. They arrived at Kim's room first. Kim turned and smiled as she spoke, "Well. It was nice to meet you. I hope we see each other again. Good night." Lupin took her hand and kissed it as he bowed to her saying, "Good night." He left as she turned, opened her door and entered her room. She stayed up an hour or two before she decided to turn in. She opened her window in her bedroom as she looked out onto the grounds. It was a beautiful night... almost crystal clear as she looked down seeing Hagrid's lights in his cabin and the lights of Hogsmeade die out for the night. Suddenly something caught her eye... movement in the shadows below. She looked around hoping no one was watching. She quickly slipped on some of her night clothes (black trench coat, black boot cut jeans and a tight black tank) and jumped out the window. She landed on the ground as graciously and silently as a cat. Quickly she pulled out two black bandannas: one for her hair, the other to cover her face from the nose down; and made her way after the supicious character.......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kim slipped into her room a couple of hours later exhausted. She couldn't catch whoever it was that night but she got a good look at him... pale complection, blood red hair and eyes... whoever this guy was she had to find out what he was doing there. She quickly slipped back into her sleeping clothes and went to bed and to sleep. What felt like a couple of hours later light broke into her window waking her as she remembered where she was and what she doing there. She quickly dress and went down to the hall to snag some breakfast. Soon enough she as back upstairs and was preparing her room for the first class of the year... 'This is going to be interesting...'
After spending a grueling two hours of double potions with Professor Snape, who took an immediate dislike to Johnathan, he went out onto the grounds for his care of magical creatures lesson. His head was about ready to split already, back home he had never done anything this strenuous, but he'd take to it about as easily he took to everything else. On his way out at the front of the Great Hall he noticed an advirtisment for gryffindor quidditch try outs. They were tonight at five O'clock. This was bound to cheer him up as he walked out onto the grounds to his next class, with the enourmous man he had seen the night before, But he had this class with the Sytherin Fifth Years, none of whom he had taken a liking to, and already he understood why so many people in gryffindor disliked the Slytherins, at least the older one's anyways.
