Hmmm... not sure where else to put this. But, ever since the hacker-thing last week, I am not receiving any new emails to the '[email protected]' Inbox. Not even 'test' emails I've tried sending to myself.

When you post a comment in the polls, apostrophes (') appear as quotes (") is that normal?

I'm not sure if it's the computer I'm on (and the security system) or the site, but some of the pages come up blank. I can see the background I'm using and the normal stuff down the left hand side and the top but nothing else, no text etc. It's certain forums and threads in forums that otherwise do work. Is anyone else having this problem or could it be the computer?

Has anyone had any problems uploading images? The last few days I have been unable to upload images to my members website and to the gallery. I keep getting an error message saying the attempt to load the URL has failed. I've tryed logging out and back in again, and have tryed a few different browsers but can't make that connection. This has never been a problem before. I can't figure it out. Any suggestions? Help would be much appreciated! Thanx.

I hope that it's suitable to ask about this here.

I started my term as Realm Leader some time ago, but for some reason, I haven't been able to see the Realms Administration forum at all. I wonder what could be wrong? Our Realm Head (who is an admin) was sure that she set my permissions correct.

(Vea, I'm sorry if you've already tried to fix this, but it still doesn't work.)

I've been looking for days and I can't seem to find the fan art section in the gallery. I did go to the fan creations section and clicked on the link there but is not working. What's going on?

I haven't been able to view that section either, Luthien I'm actually quite missing it.

uumm... u kno the thingy at the top of the forum browser that says "Last Active:"? well it says that i was last active on 8/10/05 when i just posted today!! it was like this yesterday too, and i find it very annoying cause all the forums say they have new post, when some of them havent even been looked at for a while!!! :killcomp:

help neybody??? :blush:

I'm not sure about the last active part but whenever I clear my cookies the envelope that tells me there are new posts appears on every forum until my next visit.

lanfear, I believe that would be a normal thing. Everytime I clear out my cookies, all the forums were 'active' or had been posted in since my last visit.

Aranel, I don't know about the 'Last Active' situation, though...

I'm having the same problem, Aranel... only mine says last active 24/5/2005, because I didn't use my computer all summer! So basically every single post is apparently new! It's becoming rather frustrating...

I had the same problem as Aranel and Elioclya last year, but it got fixed by itself at some point after some updates to Win XP were installed. On other computers that I occasionally used to view this site, the "Last active" date was always correct. So, it must be something with your computer rather than the site.

well at least im not the only one!!!

well, i do have an "adobe reader update" thingy that keeps popping up whenever i log on to my part of the compy... but thats been going on for ages..... :rolleys:

if yall find something... or have ney suggestions just let me kno!!!

I have that problem too, I was Last active: 10/30/2005 at 11:57 PM... I don't know why.

I believe the ecards are still not working. They're either extremely delayed or not sent at all. I'm also having trouble with getting notified about new replies to a forum thread. I don't get them even though there are lots of new ones.

I fixed it on my computer... I think the problem must have been a dodgy cookie. I deleted all my cookies and it now works fine

when I post something on the forum, the time of the post is always an hour less than the time on my computer. Even though I check my user information for the correct time zone regularly :twitch: (my time zone is +1)

Have you also put the time in the Forum Profile to GMT +1? You can do that here.

When I upload an avatar and check the option 'Set this file as your avatar?' it doesn't seem to work. I've noticed others seem to be having the same problem too.

Sometimes you have to go to your Profile in the Forum and change your avi there too. See if that works.

In the Saruman theme, the result-bars of the polls on the front page don't show up. Neither in Firefox nor in IE. It's a theme-specific problem, because when I switched to another theme, they did show up.

Whenever I try to make the writing in my signature smaller it always appears much larger (larger than the standard size). I've noticed it in other members signatures too. I'm not sure if it's my computer. This is the first time its happened and its been going on for about a week now.
