Oh it is a silly film, but OH THOSE SCENES!! It is worth it just to FFWD

And that has to be my fav look of young Hugo, even before FLA and RHM (he is blonde in both of those). But he is so dark and smouldering and playing a "bit of a rake", plus his eyes are such an INTENSE blue...... :drool: I agree that scene of him at the table is wonderful...he looks so good in evening dress.......

You most certainly deserve it. Think I need to go and lie down to recover myself ...

Yep certainly needed it after all that Hugo searching.......but him in that frockcoat.......just imagine going out to a premiere on his arm with him looking like that....AGGGGHHH! *faints*

While on my researching quest, I found an interview, some of it you will have heard before, but these bits I hadn't, so they maybe new to you too

Q: Did your Spock ears ever fall off?

A: If we were in an incredibly hot studio all day, by the end of the day they started to droop a little. They'd store them in the fridge. There'd always be about three or four Elrond ears in the fridge and someone else's feet in there.

Q: So we hear that Australian men are all supposed to be tough. Are you a tough guy?

A: No, I'm not [whispers] Don't tell anyone.

Q: No Martial Arts background?

A: Not at all. My background for the last 20 years has been that I'm an actor, prepared to jump in and do whatever is necessary for the role, whether that means bulking up or getting frail or getting really fat or whatever.

Q: Do you get any bizarre fan mail?

A: Most of them are just excited people who loved the films. But some of them are a bit sad. Some of them really want me to help with their lives. It's tragic. I was advised not to get involved. I actually wanted to fly to them and knock on their doors.....:love::cry:

Q: Was dressing like an elf like going in drag in Priscilla?

A: Not a lot. With high heels and a wig and fishnets and the makeup, you start to walk a certain way. There's a sort of liberation in a way. Elrond's gear is a long, flowing cloak. He's a wise old elf. So there wasn't a lot of running around to do.

Q: Do you feel that Elrond misses out on all the good LOTR action?

A: In the first film Elrond has a sword, and he's involved in a bit of action. After that, though, he is full of wise words, but there isn't much more than that. I have to say I much preferred the action.

Q: Did you read the LOTR books?

A: When the project came up, I did. I read them and I loved them.

Q: Did you read them like an actor, as in: "rubbish.....my part....rubbish"

A: Of course! No, no,....I actually read the whole thing. So, apparently, this whole world revolves around this wise elf [laughs]

Me: Oh, sure, Here you go...

Hugo: Thanks.

*awkward silence*

Hugo: Um, well, I'd better..... *starts to leave*

Me: No, don't go! Could I please have an autograph? Please???

Hugo: Oh, certainly. *signs piece of paper*

Me: Thanks! *sigh*

Hugo: You're welcome. Now, I'd better... *stats to leave again* Good night, miss.

Me: Good night, Mr. Weaving. *sits in silence for awhile, then scans autograph onto computer to flaunt in front of all of you* *sings* I got Hugo's autograph, I got Hugo's autograph.... and YOU didn't!!! Muahahahaha!!!!!!

He smiles...."no my dear, just giving an autograph.....to Ireth_T." Ah the blonde replies, "Don't I know you from the thread? I am Landaur......." "Now if you will excuse us, I have been promised to be waltzed off my feet tonight...." Hugo offers his arm, she takes it and they walk off, he bending down to hear what she is saying..........

Oh, YEAH?????? Well, I'll have you know he KISSED me once! Not for real, of course, but all the same.... it was still sweet! I had a very nice dream about him. It started out bad, but it got better. We were kidnapped and taken to this fortress on an island, where we were held captive. We had nothing but the clothes on our backs. I was hurt, so he sacrificed his shirt to make bandages for me. Then, when we were whipped, I did the same for him with my jacket. We were like that for some time, being beaten and starved. I had given up hope of ever seeing my family again. I was crying, and he leaned over, kissed my lips and said, "Kyra, don't abandon all hope. We still have each other, don't we?" And I replied, "Yeah, that's true. Misery loves comapny." He laughed, and I smiled. Then he put his big, strong arms around me and whispered in my ear, "Are you still upset?" "Yes," I answered, "but not as much as I was before. I've got you, and as long as I do, I know I'm gonna be OK." But then he got depressed, and he begged me to help him. I just told him, "Hugo, I'm not the one you need to ask." Then I converted him to Christianity. But then three of our kidnapper's henchmen came in one day and said, "You two are gonna suffer. We're gonna teach you the meaning of pain!" Then two of them grabbed me and held me while the third pulled out a long, burning piece of wood. I couldn't do anything as the stick came nearer and nearer to my eyes, and finally pierced my left. As I screamed in agony, Hugo fought the two guards, flung them aside and leapt to my rescue. He grabbed the stick from the man, turned it around and took out the guard's left eye. "An eye for an eye," he snarled. But then another guard took Hugo's eye as well. And when we were rescued at last, and our eye sockets had healed, we both went to court with our families - my parents, and Hugo's wife. When they brought in our kidnapper, he took one look at me and said, "You! You dirty little *****!" I just stared him in the eye, trying not to show how scared I was. When he was led away, I burst into tears. Hugo put his arm around me. Then we presented our case. The judge asked Hugo to show him the whip scars on his back, and he did, much to the disgust of the jury. He said that they were the same on my back as well. It took hours, but eventually our kidnapper was sentenced to a lifetime in jail. And we all lived happily ever after.

So, I'm back after a three days'absence and look what I find! Lots and lots of absolutely stunning and very drool-inducing pics of HIM...ooohhhhhh... :drool: :drool: :love: ...not to mention other side-effects like incoherent babbling, fainting and occasionally running naked along the street shouting 'Hugo rocks!!!!' ...

(as you can see I haven't recovered from the shock...)

The pic is there just keep scrolling down it is a side face view of Elrond with tears and his braids blowing and a ship sailing away......it is beautiful and is now on my wall.....

Yes it is up there with my favourite pics, drawings etc., of Hugo/Elrond. I had been checking most days, but still had to search for it.......it was so slow getting put up.....

Yes you should definitely draw some more.........once again Hannon le for the pic and the dedication.....
