((I was kind of wondering that myself.))
Araaduial kept her eyes scanning the horizon, her camel trotting in a rather undignified fashion, but her thoughts bent on keeping these young girls safe. Vanya apparently did not carry a weapon other than a dagger, how foolish for an elf! Araa could not defend them for long if the bandits behind caught up to them, but she was sure Strider would not let them pass without losing a good number. Her elvish eyes picked up the outline of the caves, and her camel snorted, its nose flaring and its ears laid back. Liliath apparently recognized the area they were in and raced toward the caves at full speed, her camel racing aginst the wind. Araa rode right behind her, her sword thumping against her thigh, it was light, but long and sturdy, made in Lothlorien, her home. Araa noted the dagger on Vanya's thigh and sighed, it would be good for one throw, but retrieving it for another throw would be suicide. Araa slapped her sword firmly against her camel's thigh and she hunkered down.

OOC: Hi all, my extreme apologies but I am pressed for time and will therefore post and RUN.

What I gathered so far is that our smaller group (the women) separated from the main group with Gothmog and is on its way off; and with whoever's approaching gaining on them Shahina started a stampede and it... hasn't ended yet.

Oh yes, would some kind soul pretty please start an OOC thread for us in the OOC forum? Really sorry; I was going to do so myself but it seems everytime I have barely enough time to post here and then I have to go again... ><

Vanya saw Araa looking at her dagger in exasperatin. The elf girl knew that the lady was thinking she was foolish. Vanya scowled at her and shook her head. Araa was the foolish one, to carry a sword. Even she knew, among the haradrim ladies with swords were not looked kindly upon, while ones with daggers were atleast acceptable.Looking down at her knife, Vanya judged how long it was. It was elvish, with a long hilt and blade. She guessed that if she had to use it, if a bandit was riding beside her it would be useful. But for long distances...no. Mor Nar snorted in fear, and Vanya looked back over her shoulder.

The bandits were getting closer.

Cracking her whip once more on her already bleeding leg, she circled the group. They *must* go faster!

Gothmog fell back again to the rear of the column and stood tall in the stirrups. He could see them! The old Patriach was riding hard and fast back toward them and the bandits were only scarecly behind them. Gothmog stuck his spear into the ground, pulled out his bow and fired. The lead bandit rider hit the ground a second later. The guards from the caravan turned and started toward him.
"Get to the caves!" Gothmog shouted as he let fly another arrow. "I will come." The guards halted briefly knowing it was their job to protect the prince but also to obey his orders. "GO!" He shouted. "Your useless up here." The guards tuened back to the caravan and once again began making for the cave.

Araaduial saw Vanya's scowl and her back stiffened, Araa did knew that her sword could cause an argument, but if it was the only way to protect these young girls, she would be willing to risk an argument. Araa's jaw clenched at the disrespect shown her by the younger she-elf, but now was not the time for petty arguments, they had reached the caves and already Liliath was reigning her camel in hard. Araa thought of Shahina with the pack animals and trying to get them to stop would be hard, she reigned her camel in until she was alongside Shahina. She fell back some more until she was at the last camel on the line and leaped deftly from her own camel to the rear camel and spoke soothingly to it, one hand on it's bridle, the other holding her own camel in check. Tugging firmly, she slowed the camel down enough to help the others slow down, her own camel snorting and tossing its head in annoyance. Leaping to the ground, she winced, not used to jumping off an animal at such a distance, and tugged both animals to the caves, Liliath and Vanya both leading their animals swiftly into the darkened caves. Araa brought up the rear, seeing to it that the last pack animal got in and led her protesting camel inside. The thundering was still growing louder and she heard the animals shuffling nervously, and the girls whispering fearfully, trying to calm the animals in the dark, leading them further into the caves, away from the entrance. Araa's elvish eyes adjusted to the dark enough to where she didn't run into anything, especially one of the stinking, ornery animals known as camels. Holding her sword handle tightly, she listened intently for any signs of trouble.

((OOC: Oh well. >.< Sorry for having been silent so long! I suppose the bandits (or whatever they turn out to be) will reach the caves rather soon, and then we could all die, which is not much fun, or we could somehow resolve the situation?))

Liliath felt some relief wash over her as they reached the safety of the caves. Reining in her camel quickly, she dismounted and led the animal within the cool darkness of the caves.

There had been plenty of strange glances exchanged - mostly, she thought, to do with the weapons the foreign women carried. She was certain now that the elf, Vanya, bore a weapon that the Northern lady disapproved of, and surely a Haradrim girl was to disapprove of any weapon in general! Besides, perhaps, a bow, and that sort of thing, that would keep them far from harm, and out of the way, and so on. And perhaps, even, that would not do quite so much harm as a weapon really ought to do. It was not the place of women to do battle, after all; women ought to leave that to men; it was not seemly to wreak violence so. Still, the pounding of her heart had yet to cease, and in the tension, Liliath's mind did not turn so sternly to the traditions and expectations, but harried at the possible otucomes of the situation they were in.

They were not safe yet, that was for sure. Liliath distinctly noted Gothmog a way off; he had stopped to launch arrows at the approaching dust cloud. He would not be able to hold them off, that much was obvious.

Grandfather - was that Grandfather? Riding so hard towards them? These people could not be friendly then! The expected conclusion still tied a knot of fear in her.

They were coming. Closer, and closer. Within moments, perhaps? they would be upon Gothmog; would he not turn towards the caves? But of course, with women to protect, he would hardly risk his life so.

"We should move further in," she heard her voice whisper. And she obeyed that audible expression of logic, tugging her camel further into the caves, where there was darkness, away from the looming cloud of dust, away from that danger.

Dimly she noted that Vanya was bleeding. Did the elf bleed as they did then? It came as a bit of a surprise. She had thought that elves took nothing but small hurts, healing quickly and mysteriously - their power was strange and foreign, perhaps terrifying, perhaps wondrous. It was not something to trust easily; it was too difficult to know. But these revelations could wait.

As they now waited, the women of the caravan, with the men between them and danger. Waiting to be discovered, perhaps, after defeat; to be claimed by the victorious, like so much property, the reward for battle. Or perhaps, to be found by their own men, and led back onto the predetermined route, following behind or amongst them, like so much cattle, driven to some faraway destination.

It seemed fear brought an odd detachment to her, an emotionless, careless view of things. There was no need to be too fearful, after all. The men would protect them, and if they could not, there was no use bothering about anything else.

A self-deprecating, almost bitter half-laugh, soundless and mirthless. And then, uncharacteristically, with a helpless sort of hopelessness, not really expecting much of an answer, nearly lightly, "Does anyone know how to fight?"

There were only women around anyway. And mostly foreigners, at that. And it *was* something of interest. Though maybe that was a tactless way to try to find out. Much too obvious. And really, was this a situation in which one tried to assess the standing and abilities of foreigners?

Oh bother. She could only hope Shahina didn't carry any tales back to Grandfather, or she'd really be in trouble.

As they entered the cave, Vanya saw Araa's back stiffen. Riding up beside her, she murmured. "I meant no disrespect; however I have my own way of fighting. She jumped off Mor Nar, leading the black mare to the back of the cave. Tearing a strip of cloth off her cloak, she bound it around her bleeding leg, wincing slightly. She saw Liliath's gaze of dissaproval aimed at her and wondered what she had done wrong this time. She turned towards the cave opening and saw the patriarch of teh caravan riding swiftly towards them. Vanya could only hope that he would make it in time.

The Patriarch and the rest of the guards reached Gothmog only scant seconds before the outlaws (which were now clearly visible). But it was enough time for what Gothmog needed. "Wedge form." He shouted maneuvering Berethor to the front of the triangle that the guards created. Gothmog glanced over his shoulder and noticed the Patriarch stubbornly sitting on his camel in the rear of the formation. "Sir," Gothmog said trying to sound polite but knowing what each second lost meant. "Your camel is useless in our line, let the horses do this attack, you remain here and slay any that pass us." The old man glared at Gothmog and for a moment the Prince thought he would refuse but after a moment he jerked his camel out of the line. Gothmog motioned for two more guards (also mounted on camels) and the foreigner (camel mounted as well) to stay behind while he and the ten guards on horseback prepared to charge!
The Bandits were set up in two lines of ten the first line comprised of horses and horsemen while the second was made up of camel riders. Gothmog's cavalry leapt forward closing the distance between the two lines in scant seconds, and a moment later with the ring of steel and the dull thwok of metal meeting flesh the fight had begun! Berethor guided Gothmog straight at the lead rider of the bandits who stabbed his spear toward the princes heart! Gothmog whipped his body hard to the left both dodging the blow and clearing his arm enough to allow his spear to pass through the bandits chest. Gothmog whipped his spear out of the body as it fell and killed another of the bandits before the two lines parted. Quickly the Prince looked around assesing the situation! One of his guards lay dead in the sand behind them, Hedril his name had been a good man. But mourning woulld have to wait until later. Eight of the bandit's horsemen had been killed and the remaining two were racing away from the battle and back out into the desert, but now for the camels!
With a grunt Gothmog hurled his spear killing the lead rider and evening up the numbers again. There was the sound of cold steel on leather as Gothmog released Berethor's reins and drew out the twin short swords strapped to his back! With a grunt the Prince jumped from the saddle and grabbed onto the dangling reins of the camel beside him dragging the beast to the ground. The rider was up in a second and charging the young prince but fell again a second later as one of Gothmog's blades slit his throat. Gothmog twirled and launched his left hand sword into the back of another rider, and the fight was over. Gothmog had lost two more guards but none of the camel riders had escaped him!
The Prince had just retrieved his second sword when suddenly the ring of cold steel came to his ears and someone was shouting his name. Then with horror his sharp eyes picked up at least another ten bandits, but this group had come from behind and were very nearly at the cave!! Gothmog leapt on Berethor and flew faster then the wind back towards the cave, but he knew he wouldn't get their on time. His only hope was that Strider and the Patriarch would hold them off long enough!

Vanya watched, biting her kip, as Gothmog and his guards fought off the bandits. She hoped they woudl be alright, but she should be there fighting too. She threw a hesitant glance toowards Liliath, hoping for a sign of relentance, but saw none. Sighing, the girl crouched down, her green eyes watching the battle intently. But her keen senses soon picked up something else. Hoofbeats. Rising, Vanya looked to the left of the entrance of the cave, only to see ten more bandits heading their way! She turned swiftly.
"Go as far back into the cave as you can! There are bandits coming this way too!" She shouted. She looked at her knife, and with a sigh, realized that it wouldn't do anything against horsemen. Scanning the cave, She caught sight of a long stick. Snatching it up, she tested its strength, bending it over her knee.

It held.

Tearing off (yet another) strip from her cloak, she tied her knife to it, making some sort of spear.Testing the knot, she nodded and satisfaction, knowing she would use it if she must.
"We must get farther into the cave!" She shouted again, frustrated. Mounting Mor Nar, she drove the camels back into the cave, holding her spear in one hand. She saw Liliath's look of dissaproval, and saw her open her mouth in protest, but stopped her before she could speak. "Please," She said. "This is no time for argueing. I'm only using this if I have to. Would you rather me carry a weapon or have all of us die?"
Touching Mor Nar with her heels, she herded the camels back further into the cave, glancing over her shoulder.

They were getting closer.

"Go as far back into the cave as you can! There are bandits coming this way too!"

Vanya's shout caused Liliath to pause briefly and turn around. Bandits? Past the men already? If they had slipped past the men then...

Liliath was practically at the end of the cave already. At least as far back as she was willing to go. If the cave turned into a mass of passageways further back, she wasn't going to try and lose herself in them. And if it was a simple dead end, well, she didn't want to find that out either.

It was dark in the cave. The features of the closer figures could be made out in the dim gloom, but those further away were blobby blackness except at some angles. Vanya - that was Vanya wasn't it? - had stooped down...

"We must get farther into the cave!"

...the camels were moving in; what was that Vanya had in her hand? Lilaith frowned. She was holding some stick - probably what she had bent down for - and maybe... something tied to it? Perhaps her weapon. She had heard a tearing sound previously. She really oughtn't to draw her weapon, it could be dangerous in the darkness like this. Besides, it wasn't seemly. And was it so necessary to make such a crude contraption now; what if the blade - it had to be a blade, surely - slipped and cut one of the women? That would be brilliant.

"Please," She said. "This is no time for argueing. I'm only using this if I have to. Would you rather me carry a weapon or have all of us die?"

Well! Did it look like she was about to argue? Really, was such rudeness called for? As if Liliath looked fondly upon death and would love to sacrifice all womenkind! By all means, carry a weapon, elf! Carry one if it pleases you! Do! Liliath's eyes flashed fire for a moment. Then she tamped down her temper. They were in danger; it was not time to be offended and to exchange words, or to put anyone in their place. Enmity would serve no one but the bandits at this juncture. This could be dealt with later, if there was a need for it.

All of a sudden, Liliath realised something. There was light in the cave. A curious glow, coming from...the elf? She looked around quickly to see if anyone else had noticed - a useless gesture, it was dark elsewhere, only... was there another glow? Liliath couldn't be sure. There seemed to be a faint hint of light, but maybe it was just Vanya; she couldn't be sure; there were camels and dark shapes, and the sound of battle was close...

Liliath's eyes flashed fire, only causing Vanya's green eyes to do the same. She stopped herself. As she had said, this was no time to argue. Her horse snorted beneath her, and Vanya could tell Mor Nar was nervous. Dismounting, she murmured Elvish words into the black horse's ears, calming her. Turning, she saw that Araaduil, Aragorn, and the Patriarch on their horses by the entrance of the cave. Vanya turned to Liliath again, her voice calmer this time. "Please," She said softly. "You must bring them as far back as possible. The camels and traders were making quite a din, and she nodded to them, saying to Liliath, "They need a leader." With that she mounted Mor Nar, and the young she-elf galloped up beside Aragorn.

Liliath decided that either her question had gone unheard, or ignored. Hopefully Shahina had not taken any notice of it either; that would be a lucky thing indeed. At any rate, there were plenty of other things for Shahina to be worrying about and taking note of, her cousin's slip-of-tongue would hardly be important.

Vanya's glow made it easy to see her expression. It was clear that the elf wasn't too happy about the offence Liliath had taken. Now really, what had the elf to complain about? It wasn't as if she'd been told off, which might have been the case if she were simply another Haradrim girl whose standing was below Liliath's. No, she'd been left perfectly well alone; she had taken on a role above that which she should be entitled to, with none making a single remark about it; she had been given much freedom, and had not once been reprimanded, or suffered any slight. And what came of that? She was terribly rude, presumptious, unaware or uncaring of her own status as compared to that of others. She acted the hero, as if she knew everything and could do it perfectly; as if she had no flaws and could only ever be in the right. And as if anyone who did not whole-heartedly approve of her was utterly in the wrong; as if anyone who didn't absolutely adore her was evil. Honestly!

"Please," She said softly. "You must bring them as far back as possible. The camels and traders were making quite a din, and she nodded to them, saying to Liliath, "They need a leader."

Really, was she to order Liliath around? A foreigner, an elf, a shameless girl, picked up by mere unexpected circumstance from amongst the desert dunes? Riding a horse on a desert journey? Unknown, and possibly untrusted? Yes, Liliath didn't truly have a high and grand status in the caravan, but she was, at the very least, known and trusted, related to the caravan's leader, a girl with an unsullied reputation, respectably behaved, fit to move around in society if necessary - a society in which someone like Vanya would be avoided like the plague, disdained, viewed as an utter disgrace to herself and her family! Did the girl not realise her own position!

Dragging the camels one by one so that they ended up further back in the cave - Vanya's words had made sense, yes, not that Liliath hadn't already known it, and not that Vanya couldn't have done it herself, and not that Vanya couldn't have been more polite and aware of her station whilst pointing such things out, unnecessarily, she might add - Liliath said over the din, "Hush! Everyone, move to the back, quickly! Before the strangers reach us!" How ironic, when the stranger is already in our midst.

And where was that stranger? Why, she had gone to the entrance, to join Grandfather, how kind of her, was she going to wait on him? But of course that would be unnecessary at this point in time. Who did she think she was? Grandfather was there, and the foreigners - Strider and his friend, the Northern lady - that was not this unknown's place!

"Shahina! Help me get everyone further back please?" Yes, out of the way of any battle; mixed in with the camels, so they could all be slaughtered together, animals and humans alike, in a mess, so hopefully some would be spared to cower amongst the heaps of fat and leaking blood, afraid to leave the relative safety of the dark cave until the bandits had taken what they would and ridden off, far away. What a dark, fumbling mess this was!

Berethor ran like the wond over the desert sands and Gothmog held himself in his saddle perfectly. In no time at all the guards were in his dust. Of course, he thought grimly, he wasn't trying beating to beat the guards, he was trying to beat the bandits, and wasn't sure if he would succeed. He could see them now racing toward the Strider and Patriarch and two other people.... the she-elf's. If the situation had not been so dire Gothmog would have laughed, two she-elfs, an old man, and a Northerner against ten bandits, needless to say he wasn't liking the odds. Berethor huffed and snorted beneath them but to no avail, Gothmog lost the bandits and the defenders in a cloud of dust as the two side met!!

((OOC: why does everybody think they know who I am when I haven't revealed myself?))

Araa stood next to Aragorn and watched the approaching bandits, the thundering hooves hurting her sensitive elven ears, but glancing back, she watched Vanya make a spear and she sighed. Drawing her sword, she watched the Patriarch's eyes widen and she bit her lip, her hood still somehow on her head, and her eyes glistened in the dark. A faint glimmer from behind herself caused Araa to turn around and saw that Vanya was now glowing and she winced, the power of an elf was not to be messed with, and could cause fear in the corrupt, but what would it do to the Haradrim? Holdinig her sword in her hand, she glanced at Strider and blew some dark hair out of her face before taking a fighting stance as the first of the bandits reached them. Strider immediately cut him down, but there had to be at least ten bandits, if not more, and Araa fells back, keeping the entrance to the cave shut off as Vanya joined her. Araa nodded at the young she-elf and held her sword ready.

Vanya glanced back towards Liliath and sighed, frustrated. Why did the girl hate her so? But there was no time to ponder this, the bandits were upon them. Vanya watched in admiration as Aragorn cut the first down with an easy thrust of his sword. But there were at the least ten bandits and only four of them...
Suddenly she felt a burning pain hit her cheek and turned as a spear grazed. Scowling, Vanya faced the bandit at her left, her green eyes burning into her opponent. The glow around her grew brighter along with her anger. She thrust out at her opponent with her spear, but he parried. Vanya grinned. It was the moment she had waited for. Halfway through her next lunge, she switched directions and cut the bandit in a different direction. She turned her face away as the bandit fell, severely wounded, to the ground. The She-elf did not like death.

((OOC: Haha; don't worry, Liliath doesn't really know anything - I just got the impression that elves did have some sort of glow so long as they were more or less alive, and figured it ought to be somewhat noticeable in a dark cave.))

And then the cave erupted in a clash of metal and blockage of any remaining light from the outside. The camels were a bit faster about moving now, the only problem was that the direction they were moving in was a bit debateable. Their shifting bodies hid the fight from her view, and the darkness was hardly any help.

On second thought, if she couldn't see them, they couldn't see her. That could only be good.

The fight seemed strangely distant from her - perhaps because one often depended very much on sight to experience the world. With that greatly impaired, the only thing that seemed real and immediate was the camels - semi-visible and audible, that could be felt and smelt in the dark cave, at such close quarters. It was as if they formed a shield around her, keeping her safe from the world, muffling its dangers, draining her fear away to nothingness, leaving her calm, if not entirely aware of her situation. Not unaware, perhaps, but it did not scream to her senses, demand her attention; she could wait out the battle just as easily as she could wait out a civil war at home - with a little anxiety, perhaps, but it was all bearable, and life went on as per normal.

The most alive thing about her was her anger at Vanya, but even that was fading - the elf was not near her to keep it burning, she was off where she didn't belong, on the frontlines perhaps, being cut apart by the attackers, being unseemly, improper, putting herself in danger and putting the others at risk, simply asking for a death-blow. She surely had many secrets that would go with her to her grave; that was to be expected, and would be most fitting, the unknown buried with all other unknowns, a secret and quiet grave - if she was buried, of course, foreigners did seem to prefer burial.

What secrets would she have, a young girl wandering all alone in a desert, with no idea if where she was headed? She hardly looked like she ought t have been anywhere remotely near the desert! It was all too foreign for her, she looked like she belonged somewhere, oh, more foreign than that Gondor that Strider came from; she came from further away, probably. How had she come to stumble upon the desert sands? And what did it matter; she would lose her life anyway.

Liliath tucked herself away in some corner of the cave to wait out the battle. She had no weapon, was unused to fighting, and would only get in the way. Plus, it was dark, and there were camels all around her. Better to hide and wait; and if the caravan lost, well, perhaps she could hide from the strangers as they claimed the camels, and would thus be spared. Not that she was any beauty, far from it, but she was young, and definitely female.

She did hope Shahina had the sense to do the same, and stay out of any trouble.

Gothmog switched his spear to his free hand and with a shout launched it into the air impaling an oncoming bandit! Three down seven to go. Gothmog never broke momentum as he reached behind himself and whipped out his twin swords, and when he finally emerged from the bandit group and reigned Berethor in there were only five left.

Vanya could see Gothmog and his guards fighting the other bandits.Glancing backwards, Vanya could see Liliath huddled in a corner behind the camels. Shahina sat on her camel amidst the others, looking slightly bewildered. Vanya touched the scratch on her cheek, wincing as blood dripped from it. A bandit came from her right. Vanya mounted Mor Nar, so that she would not be as easy to hit. The bandit thrust his curved sword at her. The she-elf ducked and wheeled Mor Nar to right, grinning recklessly. This bandit was mounted, but his horse was bigger and not as nimble as Mor Nar. As Vanya thrust out her home-made spear, Mor Nar started and Vanya's spear went wide, only nicking her opponent's side. With a shout, he burst forward. Vanya wheeled Mor Nar to the left, wincing as the bandit's blade cut into her leg.

Araa arched back as a sword flew over her face and slashed at the bandit, kicking his shin and than cutting him down, blood staining her sword. Spinning her sword she saw Vanya cut down a bandit and spun, barely stopping a blow to her neck. Flipping the bandit's sword off of her own, she considered stabbing him, but seeing that it was only a young boy, she punched him square in the face, grabbing his hair, and hissing at him, "Get! Leave now before I reconsider killing you boy!" Spinning, she yelped as a fist slammed into her chin and knocked her backwards, her sword flying out of her hand, and she looked up into the murderous dark eyes of a bandit. His eyes widened as he saw the fair face of a woman and he snarled, contemplating on killing her or leaving her, or taking her with him. Unfortunately for him, the split second it took him to think about it, Araa had grabbed her sword and cut him down, and she looked around quickly, noticing that the fighting had subsided and she lowered her sword.

Gothmog turned back to the battle! There were only two bandits left now, one of whom was clearly overmatched by the ranger and the other who was fighting Varna off to his left. Varna's horse bucked as she delivered what would have been a killing blow and suddenly the bandit had the advantage! The looter slashed once at her leg then raised his sword again for the killing blow! But it never felll, Gothmog rode up hard from behind him and the bandit turned around just in time to see once of Gothmog's twin short swords screaming for his kneck. He wasn't fast enough to stop it! The Harad Prince rode quickly to the she-elf's side and jumped off his horse. "Let me help you my lady!" He said gesturing at her leg. "There are few healing graces among my people but what aid I can I will give you."

"ohhhhhh," Vanya winced as the sword burned into her leg. Mor Nar bucked beneath her, knocking her from the saddle onto the ground. Her spear went clattering out of her reach. She saw the bandit on his horse before her, a smirk on his dark face as he raised his long curved sword. One hand grasping her wounded leg, Vanya reached in vain to grab hold of her spear. Too late. The bandit's sword began to fall, and Vanya closed her eyes, gritting her teeth. But it never hit her. She heard a yell and opened her eyes in time to see Gothmog slicing his sword over her opponent's back. The Bandit fell, adn the Prince jumped off his horse to the elf's side. Vanya tried to thank him for saving her, but her leg hurt so much! Already the glow that surrounded her in the cave had begun to dim. Forcing back tears, Vanya felt the stars in her eyes begin to wane. She closed them. One mere wound was not enough to kill her. She could take it. She was dimly aware of the Harad Prince bending over her.

Araa watched as the Prince knelt next to young Vanya and she watched as the young she-elf's energy waned. She quickly glanced around to make sure no one else was mortally wounded and noticed Aragorn looking at a deep cut on his arm. Araa noticed Shahina running to the Patriarch and she grabbed a piece of clean cloth and some water and went and knelt next to Aragorn. He tried to excuse her and wave her away, but she looked deeply into his eyes and he saw the tender compassion and he stopped complaining. Pouring a slight bit of water over the wound, she washed away the blood and debris and grabbed the cloth and wrapped it snugly around his arm, making sure it wouldn't allow any debris in, wishing she had some of Elrond's herbs. Standing up, she grabbed Aragorn's shoulder and steadied herself as her head spun, pain radiating from her jaw where she had been punched. Taking a deep breath, she calmed her spinning head and moved away into the pack animals, ashamed of her weakness having shown.
