Please help me find it! it is about what happens when Aragorn comes to the Shire around Bilbo's birthday. I remember seeing it!! i also remember that in one chapter, frodo was in a tree, because he climbed it. i don't remember very much more, but if you know of any like that, pm or post the title or if you wrote it tell me!!! thanks!!!

Is it something that you read in the fanfic section on this site? Otherwise, it'll be like looking for a needle in a haystack! I know how frustrating it is when you can't remember where you saw something. Good luck to you in finding it, superlegolas.

Good idea pv. That might work superlegolas!

The only other thing I can think of is try using the history button on the Internet toolbar. But you need to know when you last read the story really. It may take a while but it should work. I'd go with what pv said though!

You can type in a main character and a secondary character, I think. So that would be Aragorn and whoever else is important in the story.

I know your frustration! i have spent HOURS looking for hal-way decent fics on the web......and when i find them, if i dont bnookmark the page, i wont find them ever again! If you know the author, genre or characters, you can try your search that way.........i hope you find it!

when i did the search, i did aragorn, and then i did Frodo, but nothing came up!!!:cry: I really want to find it though, because it was well written, but i barly remember anything about it, save that Aragorn came to the Shire before the war of the ring. :cry:

I am looking for some good Elrond/Celebrían fanfiction. Until now, I've only found a few on FF.net.

Any of you know where to find some good Elrond/Celebrían fanfiction? Perhaps some archives?

There is one at another website that I am really enjoying! It is not completed yet, and the author is a little bit slow at updating because of other things going on in her life right now, and it's on another website! lol anyway, here is the link, enjoy:

I have two favorites. Both stories are old and completed, though, so you may not have heard of them. They aren't my favorite characters, but I love these two stories.

Hmm! I used to look for nice A/A stories too but they are very hard to find. I don't know of any one site in particular with A/A stories. I found a few here and there but that's so long ago that I can't remember.

Hi, I'm looking for a Elrond/ofc fic that I read over a year ago and was wondering if anyone could help me find it again. I don't know the title or the author. I have searched several popular lotr fic sites and still cannot find it.

It was a very short (1 chapter?) story about a elleth in Rivendell being injured with burns on her hands and Elrond tends to her wounds with a potion/healing draught/herbs that have some side effects that leave the elleth.. umm.. "in the mood." And since the elleth's hands are injured Elrond... well you know *blushes*

I hope I haven't broke any rules posting this if I have, I am very sorry. Ummm post here or email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Found it! Sort of... on a yahoo!group I posted the same question and someone had pointed me in the right direction. The author of the story I was looking for goes by 'Jade' or 'Aragornsfavorite' on AFF and so...

I went over to AFF and searched for 'aragornsfavorite' under authors and found the authors AFF page... with email! Emailed and asked and ... got a reply! She's currently fixing some of the chapters of the story and will be posting it back on AFF. She was kind enough to also say she would let me know when she puts it back up.

She has some other good lotr fics there as well. Heres a link to her AFF author page:

Does anyone know any good Sons of Feanor Fanfiction? I have read many already, but i was wondering if any of you had a favorite. I would like to find more Maedhros (non-slash) fiction. It's so hard to find a non-slash fic about him.

These are the best Maedhros (non-slash) stories I've read over the years.

War Dust by Nol - This story speculates on what happened to Maglor long after the end of the First Age, but a lot of it is about Maedhros. Maglor as a bard in the Trojan War, singing of Achilles, Patroclus, and the memories of a brother.

hey Rien, don't know if you're still looking, but i would suggest HASA (henneth-annun.net). it's one of the best Tolkien fanfiction sites i've found. you can search by character, age, genre, etc. and if you become a member you can see all the stories that haven't passed review yet or are in prep. it's a great site, and they have tons of Silmarillions fics.

I hate for my first post here to be a noob post, but...

I read a fanfic here about Legolas and I can't seem to find it again. I want to say it was called The Guardian, but I'm not sure. Short summary: Each royal child is given a guardian at birth to protect them and it talks about the relationship and experiance between Legolas and his guardian. Anyone know the fic I am talking about and who the author is? I've searched the title and read through all the stories that have legolas has a character in them.
