CableDog, I wanted to refer you to the Quenya forum, since they have a studdy-buddy thread there. But I just noticed you have already posted the same question there, so that won't be needed . I hope you'll find a studdy-budy soon, but be patient, since what you are asking for is something very specific . Try to avoid double-posting things though. If you have made a post that's in the wrong place, you can always deleted it or edit it by clicking the buttons underneath the post.

The best way to get to know the site is to check it out . Scroll through the different sections and see if there are any you like. There's so much to see... not just our gallery or encyclopedia, but also the forums (about books, movies, your favorite actor, games,...) and let's not forget the Realms.
So feel free to check it all out and/or to send me a pm (private message) if you have any questions or just want to chat .

Hi gimlis_babe. Is there anything specific you have issues with? It's a bit hard to start explaining the entire site. The best thing to do is to check a few things out on your own and when you have questions or problems, just send me a pm (private message).
Perhaps you could also introduce yourself in the 'Newbies introduction thread'. That way our members can get to know you better and you'll make friends easily.

Of course you can Ren . I'll be happy to help you out. My suggestion is to first take your time to explore the site a bit, by using the toolbar on the left. Once you've taken a look at some of our sections and fora, you might already have a better idea of how it all works and what we have to offer. I don't know what your interests are, but I would definitely check out our Elvish Lessons if you want to learn Elvish, the Last Homely House section if you like to turn your environment a bit more into Middle Earth, and the forums and Realms to meet other people and join our community. But all our other sections are great as well, it all depends on your interests.

I think the best advise I can give you is the one I gave to Renfaire (see my post above): check out the site and different sections and send me a pm with any question you might have(a pm is a private message, you'll find your inbox on the left toolbar where it says 'you have ** private messages'. From there you can send and receive them). Don't be afraid to ask anything at all, even if you think it's a dumb question. There is no such thing, only dumb answers . Is there anything in particular that makes you nervous or that you are unsure of? Or are there any particular things you'd want to find on our site but haven't yet?
