I can just do the simple waltz...and fake ballet, of course. *starts dancing around*

Hopefully we'll be learning how to square dance later this week, which I'm looking forward too.

Hi Gem! Fake ballet is pretending like you know how to dance ballet. You just throw in random moves that look graceful and ballet-ish. *stops dancing with Ro long enough to demonstrate*

I took ballet for 6 years! *realizes that was 6 years ago when tries to do real ballet* Fake ballet sounds better come to think about it...

*Catches M&Ms* Thanks, Ro! And yes, I'll be learning to square dance tomorrow evening.

I always wanted to take ballet, but I wasn't allowed to mostly because of the lack of substance to the dresses. *shrugs* Ah well. Fake ballet is fun, too.

No plans here! With any luck I'll be found in a corner somewhere, reading FotR and eating candy. I'd probably be more inclined to celebrate the day after Valentines Day: Singles Awareness Day. But right now, I really don't care to have a boyfriend or anything. I'm not allowed to date until I'm eighteen, but I don't that I would be dating even then.

What about everyone else?

Yeah, no real Valentine's plans here either.

But I do have some plans for today...*goes into room and opens a bag of lime chips. Goes back out to the main room* Mareth, there's some yummy crunchables over in that room. Why don't you go have some?

*She runs away and I close the door behind her* Now that she's gone, we can finally start decorating! *Pulls out all kinds of party stuff and hangs it up. Soon the room is entirely decked out for a super awesome Middle Earth/Ranger's Apprentice themed party* Okay Mareth, you can come back! *Hides behind door and throws confetti her when she walks in*

I didn't really do anything for Valentine's Day except study for a test. I have a great life, I know. No boyfriend here, but that's completely OK!!! I'd rather date a fictional character than a real guy right now anyway.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! I had fun on my birthday. And my family had a surprise party for me Saturday evening, which was a lot of fun.

Welcome back, Rod! Long time no see!

As far as the square dancing we were supposed to learn, I really have no idea if we did square dance. I know we did a few other Western dances, though. Like...line dancing and a two step. Or something. I don't know what they were called. I think it was the two step that I was totally lost with. I could not get it to save my life. The other two dances we did were hard at first, too, though I learned those. At least, I mostly learned them. Anyway, it was fun.

*dances some real ballet* I took it for years and years but then I had to quite because we got tight on money and the teacher's hours went funny because her husband got cancer.
