I took Doriath over Godolin in an earlier question, so I will very definitely stick to Doriath over Númenor!!!!! (I can swim, but ...)

Aeglos, or Dramborleg? Never mind such chicken droppings of supposed weapons. My table tennis backhand from a few years ago was a far more destructive weapon!

Eowyn! Sure, with Gandalf it would probably be safer, but he might be all grumpy.

Would you rather sail to Valinor with (young) Bilbo or Frodo?
If anyone had happened to look out of a window on the east side of the palace, they might have noticed two figures in the darkness, dancing in a square bordered by living plants, out of time with the dancers inside but perfectly in time with each other.

The Shire. Like JRRT, my sympathies are much more with the Hobbits - well, OK, with Bilbo, Frodo, Merry, Pippin and the later Sam.
Some other Hobbits could probably become tiresome pretty quickly!
So Tooks and Brandybucks and types like farmer Maggot would also be high on the list.

Would you rather go off on an adventure with a bunch of Tooks or a bunch of Brandybucks?

The Rohirrim were farmers, too, weren't they?
So no fiery war horse for me, I'd buy some nice even-tempered draught horse from them.
