What the above drowned famous astrologer bellowed as he dropped into the crevice he had overlooked in the "grinding ice" - which is a euphemism and not a translation, as the original term is about the rudest to be found in Elvish language. Nonetheless, while the Elves considered the term much too rude to translate into another language, they also agreed that it was the most precise description of that *ahem* "not-very-nice" part of Arda.
