As a hobbit ... Merry. He's intelligent and very "together" in himself. As an actor it woujld have to be Billy, so that we could blether about the Scotish theatre scene which interests me.

That would be a hard choice for me. I like Pippin and Merry for their humor. I like Sam for his loyalty.

Merry, I admit, is a close second. I love his character too, and he's such a cutie.

OK, OK, Pip's third. He's a cutie too. And can he SING! lol

it was very hard, but I chose Sam. It was between Sam and Pip, but I decided that if I wanted a normal and calm day that I would go with Sam and if I wanted a crazy random day I would go with Pip....maybe steal some mushrooms.

I'm sure that Sam would be very shy and quiet, but hey, he's a great hobbit.

Sam would have to be at the top of my hobbit list, and Pippin right behind.:love:

but one of the real hobbits? hmmmm... I would really like to talk to pippin. He seems to be just really cute and funny. And I think, you would have had a great time with him

Well I just added another vote to the lovely Sam, Rish. Fancy that brave Hobbit only having 21 votes.

As far as meeting actors. As you know, Elf, I have had the droolworthy opportunity of meeting the delish Craig Parker.

But I would love to meet Sean Astin in real life. I just loved his portrayal of Sam.

Well, Frodos the hottest (followed by Pippin) however, if we're not talking hot, prolly dear Samwise, hes so sweet and the best friend u could ever have, Im not gonna lie, I have 5 best friends who are just like him

Pippin, because he's funny and we'd joke around together.

Sam, if I wanted a quiet day to just sit and talk, is a close second.

But whoever I end up with I'd hope they would introduce me to the other 3!

My choice is Sam. He is the bravest of all Hobbitses. I think Sam would have jumped into Mt. Doom himself to destroy the ring since Frodo could not do it. Besides, I would love to talk to him about gardening.

I love Sam too. He is so brave and never gives up hope. I agree with what Frodo said in the Two Towers: "Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam."
I know this quote is a little long, but I love it!

Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.

Probably Sam. Everyone seems to like him a lot... He is VERY brave. One of the best characters in all the movies!

Pippin, at least as he was portrayed in the films. Not meaning to sound queer but seems like a fun person to be around.

Yes Pippin. I admire Sam's heroism and Frodo's but Pippin was very young and had lived a charmed life with wealth and position. Away from home he learned that posessions and birth counted for little and he had to get out there and get on with it. As Galadriel said "You will find your courage" and he did. He is the one to actually meet, and I'd like to get his view on later events in the Shire, after he became The Took and his children intermarried with Sam's.
