I'm actually from Aldergrove, BC but I've been spending a lot of time in Bellingham. I'll be there even more once I start school in Sept.

just for the record there are parts of WA that are not rainy. like Spokane (Where I am from) you should visit some time. (oh and to put down another popular misconception we do have trees on the east side of the state it's central WA that is a desert,)

Shhh.. it does too rain all the time!
*hopes any Californian who is thinkling of moving here decides not to*
I'm in the mountains in the central part of the state, near a place famous for being the locale of Cicely Alaska on a formerly popular TV show.

And yes the northeast corner of the state north of Spokane does have trees, and along the Canadian border . The desert is south of Spokane going all the way to Oregon, with some fine breweries, wineries, and a nuclear waste dump and weapons plant as well. But I do love the mo8ntains, especially now when the sun is bright, and the fall colors are out and about.

Well, my good Karendil, I used to live in Bremerton, and it was pretty rainy there. And from what I've seen Seattle is rainy too, though I'm not sure.

I live near Seattle, Washington (Bellevue to be exact). I'm definitely female and I run a yahoo study group for Sindarin that meets at least twice a month in person to study! Let me know if you're interested. I'm also part of a local LOTRs yahoo group/club that gets together to do things. Next week we're meeting Andy Serkis (Gollum and later on in the week, John Rhys Davies!!! (Gimli and Treebeard)

Hey!
I actually live in Hillsboro, OR, with my mom. But a couple times a month, I go to spend the weekend with my dad, who lives in Washington (yay!) in the Bremerton/Silverdale/Port Orchard area.

I went the second weekend of the Ren fair near Purdy. My brother used to live on Key Penninsula just down the road. The third weekend's weather sure was soggy, but it was nice and hot the weekend of Aug 14-15.

So how many of us are still around here and still on CoE?

And then summer went away and fall came, but now that its the last day of summer, it got reasonably nice again.
