Just what I need!
primary language: English (I know a fair amount of french, too)
Level: only lesson one here, but I'm through lesson six on the course from Ardalambion (though I confess I haven't memorized most of the vocabulary)
Preference: equal or more advanced as I wouldn't be much help to newbies at the moment

BTW, I'll be gone and away from internet access most of the summer, so anyone willing to be my buddy needs to be prepared for that

I'd like to have someone with whom to practice over e-mail.

language: English. I could manage French and most likely Spanish as well.
level: I've finished Helge's course at Ardalambion; my vocabulary leaves something to be desired, but I can manage grammar fairly well. And I have dictionaries! I have reviewed the later lessons on this site, and will continue to do so.
preference: fairly high, if possible. It doesn't really matter to me.

A bit of Spanish, Hellenic(old Greek)and Latin(which resembles abit with Quenyan gramatical system)

I've recently started working in Quenya and I would like a study buddy.

Languages: English, and I'm ok in French.
I also know some Hebrew and a little Korean.
Lesson: I'm in the middle of Lesson 9

I'm Becky. I speak English, a little French, German and 'fluent' Sindarin (as far as is possible). I've gone up to lesson 7 of the Quenya course but I think it might be a good idea for me to start again. I don't mind what level my buddy is.

Edit- Ok, I think that's lesson 8 now. I've reread up to there.

hannon le and mellon are Sindarin words, so maybe you should apply to the Sindarin forum.

I have three or four Sindarin buddies, but no Quenya. I'd like to take up the other Elvish language.

Native language: English
Sindarin level: Grammer understanding is very high, vocab is low
Quenya level: Zip, zero, none. I'm going to print off the lessons after I finish typing this. I haven't even read them yet.

Hey, I'd like another Quenya Buddy I've had several past buddies, but somehow they've gotten lost along the way...
I speak English, and I am probably up to around Lesson 17 in Quenya and would like a buddy at a similar level.

Aiya. I am seeking a study buddy. I was working with someone, but we've fallen out of touch. I've completed the course on this site Comments from my mentors at Council of Elrond were a great help and encouragement (Hantanyel, Malinornë ar dirk_math). Now I'm working on the Quenya Course at Ardalambion and would like to partner with someone who is doing the same thing.

My native language is English. I studied French and Latin in school, but that has been quite a while ago.

quenya level: just finished lesson 7 in Thorsten Renk's Quetin i lambë eldaiva, i also have Helge's course but havn't started it yet, and i have both of helge's wordlists, eng-quen and quen-eng, both may 2005 editions.

It's basically where two people help each other through the lessons and ask each other about anything they have difficulty with or have trouble understanding.
I'll be willing to help anyone, it might push me to work a bit harder! *goes off to start activity 12.2*

Aiya ilquen (and Mal in particular). Just want to say that I am back on the web and I started learning again (with humble and sincere thanks to Dirk, who kept on 'bugging' me with the question 'when will you start again' ). I am willing to have a study buddy again, but currently, I can mostly just check mail, no IM.
Languages: English, Dutch.
Quenya level: lesson 18 of the Ardalambion lessons.
Time zone: GMT +1 (Amsterdam, Paris and so on).

Hi, I have been attempting to learn Quenya for a year now and have been stuck around Lessons 10-12, not because I don't get it, but because I keep forgetting. I would like a study buddy to practise my skills with and to help me to progress past these lessons. I get the grammar, I just need some practise. My first language is English.

Mal- I've given up on Janet's e-mail as well! I sent one, then didn't get anything back so it's probably not working or something.

EDIT- I've been on holiday the last three weeks so I've read the lesson 13 but not done the exersises, it's not that I've forgotten Quenya or didn't want to do it, I couldn't spend too much time online.

Me is looking for someone to study with, I am just starting at Quenya, I had a look at Sindarin, I managed to understand how most of it works, but I have decided that I will go with quenya instead as Sindarin looks a little too "unknown".

So yah, me is just starting, I had a look at the first few lessons and it looked pretty simple, so if anyone else wants to learn with me, drop me a line.

I am on workbook lesson 7 but I have studied the more advanced topics (cases, etc.) in the summaries. I'd like a study buddy to have someone to practice with to get more fluent in writing the language...preferably someone who isn't afraid of Neo-Quenya . I speak primarily English but I can also communicate in Spanish (though my grammar is far from perfect ).

I've managed to get a few of my friends to use as "study buddies"...I mean, I've used what little bit of Quenya I know to harass them, and now they're wanting to learn it too...They're logging onto the site, taking the lessons, and we use each other as study buddies...it seems to work quite well...Just thought I'd throw in my idea of study groups...
And, I apologize if this was the wrong thread to post this in.
