Personally, I'd choose Elrond. It was his idea! I got this poll idea from a post I read on CoE. I apologize to whoever it was that had this idea in the first place.

You have the ability to change the course of one historical event in Arda. What would you do?

- Prevent the unchaining of Melkor.
- Make Fëanor surrender the Silmarils to Yavanna.
- Stop Fëanor and his sons from swearing the oath.
- Make the sons of Fëanor unite with the other Elves against Morgoth and prevent the kinslayings.
- Prevent the forging of the Rings of Power (or at least the One Ring).
- Make Isildur destroy the Ring.
- Other.
- Nothing! ME wouldn't be half as interesting if I changed something! (thnx to Celedë_Anthaas for this one).

~I read and re-read the book, again, and again... it never bores me!

The films are better short.
They still leave out too much!
It's worth the money for the appendices alone!
